Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art
Why Studio Art?
Explore the creative processes in the visual arts while honing your technical, perceptual, and
critical thinking skills. Through a multi-disciplined curriculum, small classes, and personal
attention, students are given a framework on which to build their academic and artistic career.
Studio Art 2D Concentration
Practice traditional and contemporary approaches in painting, drawing, illustration, and
printmaking, while incorporating current practices in new media and technologies.
Studio Art 3D Concentration
Develop your skills in ceramics, fused glass, sculpture, and installation. Practice using a 3D laser
cutter and 3D printer in the College’s state-of-the-art Makerspace.
Intermedia, Digital, & Mixed Media Concentration
The program fosters inquiry and experimentation into different media, such as painting,
installation, video art, earthworks, assemblage/mixed media, digital printmaking, experimental
processes in photography, and digital painting.
