Explore the diverse field of architectural design and construction within a four-year

pre-professional curriculum. The unique blend of design innovation, research, emerging

Why Art Therapy?

Grounded in research, theory, and practice, the art therapy curriculum allows you to develop a

strong understanding of the field while cultivating a skilled studio practice. Develop creative

and imaginative expression by taking courses that utilize a variety of healing arts such as music

therapy, psychodrama, therapeutic writing, and dance therapy.

Why a B.F.A. in Photography?

Develop technical strength, creative finesse, and business acumen, while learning best practices in

studio lighting, digital workflows, documentary storytelling, and digital filmmaking. Explore fine art

photography and experimental media while creating independent projects and portfolios through

advanced coursework. Three optional study tracks include fine art photography, photojournalism

and documentary studies, and commercial photography.

Why a B.S. in Photography?

Develop an understanding of the skills, technologies, methods, and industry best practices that

are applicable to most types of photographic work. The curriculum provides students with a

broad base of industry standard, digital imaging competencies in still, multimedia, and video

imaging within a framework of business, marketing, media analysis, financial acumen, public

relations, and entrepreneurship.

Why Graphic Design?

Become well-versed in the design process from concept to finished product, developing

knowledge and expertise in research, conceptualization, composition and layout, typography,

and image creation. Work in traditional print media, plus animation, video, web, and multimedia,

developing both digital and traditional hand skills. Two optional study tracks include advertising/

brand development and web design/development.

Why Interior Architecture?

Develop the skills of a professional designer, while combining your creativity and eye for design

with keen problem-solving skills. Interior architecture is a multifaceted field, and this program

combines aesthetics with pragmatic solutions to support the construction of appealing, highfunctioning

interior environments.

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art

Why Studio Art?

Explore the creative processes in the visual arts while honing your technical, perceptual, and

critical thinking skills. Through a multi-disciplined curriculum, small classes, and personal

attention, students are given a framework on which to build their academic and artistic career.

Studio Art 2D Concentration

Practice traditional and contemporary approaches in painting, drawing, illustration, and

printmaking, while incorporating current practices in new media and technologies.

Studio Art 3D Concentration

Develop your skills in ceramics, fused glass, sculpture, and installation. Practice using a 3D laser

cutter and 3D printer in the College’s state-of-the-art Makerspace.

Intermedia, Digital, & Mixed Media Concentration

The program fosters inquiry and experimentation into different media, such as painting,

installation, video art, earthworks, assemblage/mixed media, digital printmaking, experimental

processes in photography, and digital painting.
