THE
ORACLE
What do you consider when thinking about your wardrobe direction?
Weather, but not necessarily in terms of practicality. Just like sunny weather calls for baggier/flowier clothes while colder weather calls for more rigid clothing. I’m more into thinking about
the season and being connected with time than I am designing myself.
How do you think of yourself when styling yourself?
Usually am into the Western U.S motif. Western slacker like baggy shorts and tee-shirts and long baggy pants. I don’t try to be anything I’m not; I just wear what is appealing and like to
not over concentrate on my style or always staying ahead of the curve or something.
Do you lean towards a certain color palette?
For bottoms mostly grey colors: grey, black, dark denim; for tops it depends, but I am into doing stripes and for sweaters Im partial toward browns and greens. Just more earthy colors generally.
Do you wear any interesting textures or prints?
Yes, mostly chunky knits for sweaters or beanies. In the springtime I might be daring with a print but only on a camp collared shirt or something. I don’t like anything to be too loud.
How big is your wardrobe?
Would you wear one or two looks almost daily like a uniform if they perfectly exemplified you?
Yes, but I would have to get past the initial self-consciousness. I would be fine with it but it’d be hard to ignore
people noticing it.
What would you think about wearing outerwear with some luminescent quality (ie. Shimmering mosaic)
Yes, I would need to see a design but I’m not opposed to it. That sounds crazy. More is not more for me personally
though so it would have to be
carefully done to be reduced and subtle
How often do you purchase and where?
I go through cycles of purchasing, but definitely buy most online. I’m not as good as you are about resale and
often buy retail or online sales. I like vintage but don’t have enough time to go out regularly to sift through it all.
Would you wear any sculptural freeform shapes or is that too avant garde?
I would so long as it isn’t tacky. I could better imagine that on womenswear to be honest. But for me it would
need to be not too extremely shaped and just a little bit more exaggerated in some places than normal.
How would you picture a prophetic person to dress?
Prophetic how? Like wise? I guess that doesn’t have to equate to strong shoulders and long silhouettes but
I imagine a full range from a suited profession type of prophet to slacker prophet (The Big Lebowski). If we’re
talking about womenswear it could be more flowy, loose drapey shapes that have a lot of movement when
walking and blow in the wind.

What do you consider when thinking about your wardrobe direction?
I try to be funny in the way I dress; I wouldn’t say I care about fashion that much I just
look to like Pete Davidson and take your advice and my sister’s advice on what to wear. I
love wearing Jordans and hoodies.
How do you think of yourself when styling yourself?
I try to embrace my wackiness and sense of humor. I have no problem wearing a Rick and
Morty hoodie I got on amazon. I have fun with it and don’t care what other people think
but I usually get stuff from places you and my sister recommend.
Do you lean towards a certain color palette?
I love black, blue and red. I’m wearing red Jordans right now.
Do you wear any interesting textures or prints?
Not really in terms of textures but I definitely have a lot of graphic prints. I have so many graphic
hoodies its absurd.
How big is your wardrobe?
This sounds ridiculous but sometimes when it's cold outside I end up asking a
friend for their hoodie to borrow and never give it back, hahaha so my wardrobe
is absolutely filled with them. I have more than I can even use.
Would you wear one or two looks almost daily like a uniform if they perfectly exemplified
you?
Maybe but I think I already am kind of doing that in some ways. I am always wearing
the same shoes and don’t really care about trends or keeping up with the
moment so I kind of have my formula.

What would you think about wearing outerwear with some luminescent quality (ie.
Shimmering mosaic)
That is hard to imagine but that sounds like something sick to wear to an
awards show. I would feel like Cee Lo Green or something. But i'm not sure if that's
the vibe of what it would be
How often do you purchase and where?
I purchase like twice a year online in big batches and just see what I like or not
and send back the rest. Vintage shopping is hit or miss and I don’t have the
time or desire really to do that. I’m not big into fashion really but am making more of
an effort as of late.
Would you wear any sculptural freeform shapes or is that too avant garde?
It would be hard to picture that on myself but if I were going to a special occasion
event to receive an award or something and needed to make a power
move then I would consider it but I just like to be funny in the way I dress over
hyper curating it. It would be a stretch to make that my daily wear style but I’m
