Quranic Alphabet

Letter of the Day

Introducing the contents of the

Quran and it’s vocabulary through

the Arabic alphabet with rhymes,

stories and hands on activities for

little ones

www.islamfromthestart.com

The intention behind this project was to introduce little ones to the

amazing words of Allah in the Holy Quran as their first and main source

of reference, learning and wonder! We wanted to instil a love of Allah

and excitement for his word through play using rhymes, stories, hands

on activities and crafts that felt meaningful and connected. Using the

Arabic alphabet as a structure to introduce Quranic vocabulary helped

little ones to become familiar with the language even getting excited

when they recognised words while the Quran was recited!

We encourage you to adapt the activities however you feel appropriate,

using this guide to inspire your own Qur’anic adventure!
