Greeting from the President

Quest’anno Religion Today mette in primo piano la missione come

spinta, chiamata e forza motrice di un’esistenza piena. Parliamo di

missione come chiamata personale ma anche come relazione con gli altri:

non l’imposizione del nostro io, ma come condivisione di ciò che ci spinge

a portare luce nel mondo. Missione come dialogo, dialogo come missione.

Proprio seguendo la relazione simbiotica fra missione e dialogo, i film

che vi presentiamo quest’anno raccontano la missione nelle tradizioni

religiose e culturali in modi diversi e sempre ricchi di intensità. Ad ogni

giornata di proiezioni abbiamo assegnato una tematica per fare sì che

il pubblico possa interagire con la sfera più ampia di missione in modo

multidimensionale, interattivo e attuale.

Il silenzio di missione, identità e missione, padre, scelte difficili, missione dialogo, missione come

vocazione, diritti, guerra e pace. Attraverso questi temi, la grande varietà di film in concorso e i

tanti eventi paralleli renderanno Trento un centro di scambio, dialogo e incontro in cui ognuno

potrà avere l’opportunità di vedere la missione come una forza motrice nella propria vita. Perché

la missione è movimento e scopo: con uno scopo, il movimento incessante da un punto all’altro

diventa il fuoco che arde senza bruciare, che meraviglia e risponde alla chiamata di Dio.

La nostra natura di festival itinerante continua, con l’auspicio di poter vedere sempre più opere

cinematografiche che esplorino il dialogo interreligioso in maniere innovative, che possano riflettere

l’importanza di esplorare percorsi di convivenza e combattere le narrative imposte da chi vuole

contestualizzare la religione come divisione. È la nostra missione come Religion Today e come

essere umani che guardano l’alto, e l’altro, con la speranza e meraviglia di Dio.

This year, Religion Today focuses on the idea of mission as a push, a call and a driving force for

a full existence. We talk about mission as a personal call, but also as a relation with others. It is

not the imposition of oneself; rather, it means sharing what pushes us to bring light in the world.

Mission as dialogue, dialogue as mission.

Following the symbiotic interrelation between mission and dialogue, the films we present this year

talk about mission within religious and cultural traditions in ways that are diverse and always full

of intensity. Every day will have a specific theme to allow the public to engage with the wider sphere

of mission in a multidimensional, interactive and contemporary. The silence of missions, identity

and mission, Fathers, difficult choices, mission dialogue, mission as vocation, rights, war and

peace. Through these themes, the great variety of films competing this year, and the many parallel

events, will make Trento a hub of exchange, dialogue and encounter. Within this, each person will

have the opportunity to see the mission as a driving force in their very own life. Because mission is

movement and purpose: with a purpose, the unstoppable movement from one point to the other

becomes the fire that blazes without burning, that mervels and responds to God’s call.

Our nature as a wandering festival continues. Our dream for the future is to see many more films

that explore interreligious dialogues in innovative ways that can reflect the importance of exploring

paths of coexistence and fight those narratives imposed by those who want to contextualise religion

as division. This is our mission as Religion Today and as human beings who look up to Heaven,

and to the Other, with God’s hope and wonder.

L’obiettivo della XXII edizione sarà quello di favorire una conoscenza

consapevole e non retorica delle religioni declinate nel tema della

missione, presente in numerose religioni, invitando il pubblico a mettersi

in relazione con l’attualità e i grandi cambiamenti in corso a tutte le

latitudini nelle nostre società, tra vecchi e nuovi conflitti, inarrestabili

movimenti di popoli, tendenze globalizzanti e rivendicazioni identitarie,

dove il lavoro e l’esperienza dei missionari diventano tasselli

imprescindibili per comprendere la società attuale e il pluralismo

religioso che la caratterizza.

Sono due le ragioni che hanno accompagnato questa scelta, la prima è la sensibile decisione di

Papa Francesco di indire questo ottobre il Mese Straordinario Missionario, rimettendo il tema

della missione ed i tanti missionari impegnati sulle rotte del mondo al centro della vita sociale

e culturale della Chiesa. La seconda è che la nostra terra, il Trentino, ha dato i natali a molti

missionari, circa uno ogni duemila abitanti, che operano tutt’oggi con impegno e amore nel

mondo. Sono 204 oggi, infaticabili testimoni di altruismo, fede e coraggio.

Il Festival avrà inizio il 2 ottobre, una data non casuale, che coincide con l’anniversario dei

150 anni dalla nascita di Mahatma Gandhi: che incarna la scelta di fare della propria vita

una Missione, nel suo caso, promuovere la libertà della terra natale dal giogo del colonialismo

britannico e renderla una terra libera, dove le differenti religioni, espressioni di un popolo

multietnico, potessero vivere in pace nel seno della non violenza. Come ci insegnano le “Donne di

fede per la pace” che in alcuni eventi collaterali accompagneranno la manifestazione spiegando il

loro cammino di amicizia, pace e fratellanza.

La XXII sarà un’edizione dedicata allo scoperta dell’altro, all’incontro, alla conoscenza, ma

soprattutto alla rimozione dei pregiudizi e delle paure: una vera e propria festa delle diversità

intesa come ricchezza ed opportunità.

Giurati internazionali, registi e missionari da ogni angolo del mondo, oltre 1700 film iscritti al

concorso, 62 pellicole proiettate durante la settimana di manifestazione, 34 paesi di provenienza:

questi i numeri che confermano il ruolo crescente che riveste il Religion Today Film Festival nel

panorama internazionale dei festival spirituali. Una selezione di pellicole pluripremiate e ghiotte

anteprime internazionali, che permetteranno al pubblico trentino e agli studenti di scuola e

università di avvicinarsi al cinema spirituale con curiosità e interesse.

A rendere il Religion Today un’esperienza unica di condivisione, scoperta e confronto saranno loro,

i missionari trentini, che vogliamo protagonisti di questa edizione. Saranno presenti durante le

proiezioni, nelle scuole, alla presentazione dei libri, dove potranno incontrare i cittadini e i giovani,

raccontare, ascoltare e riflettere insieme sulle loro terre di missioni e sulle appartenenze religiose

con le quali si confrontano quotidianamente. Ogni mattina potremo incontrarli alla sede della

Caritro per cominciare la giornata con la carica del caffè e l’energia delle loro testimonianze.

Greeting from the Director

The aim of the 22nd edition is to favour an aware and non-rhetorical understanding of religions

within the sphere of mission, an idea present in many religions. We want to invite the public to

relate to today’s world and the big changes happening to all latitudes of our societies. Old and new

conflicts, relentless movements of peoples, globalising tendencies and rivendications of identities. In

this, the experience and the work of missionaries become vital pieces to understand today’s society

and the religious pluralism that characterizes it.

There are two reasons for this choice. Firstly, Pope Francis’ decision to hold an Extraordinary

Missionary Month in October. This places the theme of mission, and the many missionaries

committed around the world, at the centre of the social and cultural life of the Church. Secondly,

our land, Trentino, is the birthplace of many missionaries (around one per 2000 inhabitants) who

continue to work globally with commitment and love. Today, they are 204, unstoppable witnesses

of solidarity, faith and courage.

They will be the ones to make Religion Today a unique experience of sharing and discovery. We

want them to be the protagonists of this edition. They will be present during the screenings, in

schools, and at the many book presentations. They will be able to meet people and youngsters,

to tell stories, listen and reflect together on the lands where they operate and on the different

religious experiences with whom they relate on a daily basis. Every morning, we will be able to

meet them at Caritro’s main see to start the day with the charge of coffee and their testimonies.

The Festival will start on the 2nd of October. This is not a random date: it coincides with the

150th anniversary of Gandhi’s birth. He embodies the choice of making a Mission of one’s

own life. In his case, the mission was to promote the freedom of his country from colonialism, to

make it a free land, where different religions, expressions of a multiethnic population, could live

together peacefully within a narrative of nonviolence. Similarly, the Women of Faith for Peace will

accompany the festival in parallel events explaining their path of friendship, peace and sisterhood.

This edition will be dedicated to discovering, encountering and knowing the other; but mostly to

removing prejudice and fears. It will be a real celebration of diversity understood as richness and

opportunity.

International jury members, filmmakers and missionaries from all around the world. Over

1700 submissions, 62 films screened throughout the week, from 34 countries. These are the

numbers that prove the growing role Religion Today plays in the international scene of spiritual

film festivals. We will host a selection of award-winning films and exciting international premiers,

which will allow the public from Trentino and students from schools and universities to get closer to

spiritual cinema with curiosity and interest.

International jury

Roberto Paglialonga (Italia Italy)

Giornalista, ha conseguito un PhD

in storia delle relazioni internazionali

presso l’Università di Firenze.

Attualmente si occupa dell’ufficio

stampa del Dicastero Vaticano per il

Servizio dello Sviluppo Umano Integrale,

e scrive di letteratura sul quotidiano

italiano Il Foglio. Ha collaborato alla

realizzazione artistica del padiglione

della Santa Sede a EXPO Milano 2015

(Premio medaglia d’oro per lo sviluppo

del tema) e a EXPO Astana 2017

in Kazakistan. Dal 2010 al 2013 ha

lavorato nello staff del Ministro italiano

dell’Istruzione dell’Università e della

Ricerca. Ha scritto La Chiesa in uscita di

Paolo VI. Viaggi internazionali e diplomazia

della pace del primo Papa che ha incontrato

il mondo (2015). Nato a Desenzano del

Garda, in provincia di Brescia (Italia)

nel 1978, vive a Roma. È sposato con

Sara ed è papà di Matteo ed Elisa.

Journalist, he holds a PhD in History of

International Relations at the University of

Florence. He is currently in charge of the press

office pf the Vatican Dicastery for Integral

Human Development, and writes about

literature in the Italian newspaper Il Foglio.

He collaborated in the artistic realization of

the Holy See pavilion at EXPO Milan 2015

(Gold Medal Award for theme development)

and at EXPO Astana 2017 in Kazakhstan.

From 2010 to 2013 he worked in the staff

of the Italian Minister of University Research

and Education. He wrote The outgoing Church

of Paul VI. International travel and peace diplomacy

of the first Pope who met the world (2015). Born

in Desenzano del Garda, in the province of

Brescia (Italy) in 1978, he lives in Rome. He is

married with Sara and is the father of Matteo

and Elisa.

Shanta Nepali (Nepal)

Shanta Nepali è fondatrice, regista

e produttrice della Shanta Nepali

Productions. Dopo aver conseguito

una laurea in turismo e sviluppo

rurale alla Tribhuvan University, ha

lavorato per diversi giornali e radio

come giornalista. Dopo molti anni di

lavoro nell’informazione, ha realizzato

di avere un passione per la regia e per

i viaggi. Ha quindi seguito le proprie

passioni, producendo programmi sul

turismo d’avventura e sulla natura

per molti canali televisivi. Che si tratti

di scalare montagne o guidare moto

attraverso le valli dell’Himalaya,

Shanta è nel suo elemento quando

lavora nella natura selvaggia con le sue

location impegnative, sempre usando la

telecamera per immortalare la natura e

la gente nella loro forma migliore.

Shanta Nepali is a founder, director and

producer of Shanta Nepali Productions. After

completing her Bachelor’s degree in tourism

and rural development from the Tribhuvan

University, she has worked in different

newspapers and Radios as a Journalist. After

many years of working in the News sector,

she realized that she has a passion for film

making and traveling. And she finally followed

her passion producing programs focusing

on adventure tourism, travel, and nature for

different television channels. From climbing

mountain peaks to riding motorbikes across

the high Himalayan valleys all the while

beautifully capturing nature and people at

their best in her camera, Shanta is in her

element working in wild and challenging

locations.

Liya Gilmutdinova (Russia)

Esperta nel campo cinematografico del

Ministero della Cultura della Repubblica

del Tatarstan (Russia). È laureata

in Filologia russa alla Kazan State

Pedagogical University. Ha diretto molti

documentari dal 2005 al 2016 e oggi

collabora per il Kazan Film Festival.

Expert in the field of cinematography of

the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of

Tatarstan (Russian Federation). She graduated

from Kazan State Pedagogical University,

faculty of Russian philology. She directed

several documentaries from 2005 and 2016.

Godfrey Omorodion Aibuedefe

(Nigeria)

Godfrey Omorodion è un regista e

consulente informatico, impegnato

nello sviluppo del Paese. Oltre ad

essere coinvolto in numerose attività

umanitarie, è il presidente della Nigeria

Film Society; fondatore e direttore

artistico del Benin City Film Festival;

CEO dell’Abog Communications;

co-fondatore della fondazione borse

di studio Arise Education e membro

dell’esecutivo di Environmental

Development and Social Justice

Initiatives.

Godfrey Omorodion is a filmmaker,

development worker and ICT Consultant.

Besides being involved in numerous

humanitarian activities, he is the President

of the Nigeria Film Society; founder and

Festival Director of Benin City Film Festival;

CEO of Abog Communications; founding

partner of the Arise Education Scholarship

Foundation and Committee Member for

the Environmental Development and Social

Justice Initiatives . Over the past two and a

half decades, he has worked in a wide variety

of sectors, always moved by the mission of

bringing good to his country.

M. Hamid

Mr. M. Hamid è noto come

eminente personalità culturale e

dei media in Bangladesh. È uno dei

leader pionieri del movimento neoteatrale

e dell’attività della società

cinematografica in Bangladesh. È

stato insignito di numerosi premi

nazionali e internazionali per le sue

opere teatrali e documentarie. È un

combattente per la libertà nella guerra

di liberazione del Bangladesh nel 1971.

Ha assunto un ruolo vitale nel fondare

il Bangladesh Film and Television

Institute. Attualmente è impegnato nella

formazione cinematografica, televisiva

e teatrale.

Mr. M Hamid is widely known as an eminent

cultural and media personality in Bangladesh.

He is one of the pioneer leaders in neo

theater movement and film society activity

in Bangladesh. He was honored by many

national and International awards for his

works in theater and documentary. He is

a freedom fighter in the liberation war of

Bangladesh in 1971. He took a vital role

in setting Bangladesh Film and Television

Institute. Presently he is engaged in Film,

Television and Theater education.

mother’s sudden death forces Gadi to move

temporarily to the house of his biological

father, from whom he’s been estranged most

of his life.

Frances witnesses the miserable conditions

of Italian immigrants considered the bottom

of American society. Her strong character

In the mid ‘80s, Achu Lama, a Buddhist monk,

went to meditate on a sacred highland in

Tibet. Gradually pilgrims, monks and nuns

joined him, who would go on to found Yaqen,

a boundless shanty town that is today home

to around 30,000 monks, two-thirds of whom

are women. This is a “Buddhist citadel” that

the Chinese government has tried to raze to

the ground several times. The women’s wing is

a village of shacks where the nuns live, without

care for their disastrous living conditions. They

are women who are united by their spiritual

quest and desire for liberation, many of whom

are Han Chinese.

Andiamo via, coprodotta da Rai Fiction

e Stemal Entertainment, andata in

onda su Rai3 dal 2 al 13 settembre,

racconta il “percorso” fisico ma anche

emotivo e di “espiazione” di sei ragazzi,

condannati e inseriti in uno speciale

programma di esecuzione esterna

della pena. Alessandro, Francesco,

Kekko, Maria, Matteo e Omar partono

da Roma per arrivare, a piedi, a

Santa Maria di Leuca. Tappa dopo

tappa, assistiti da una guida e da

un’educatrice, i giovani raccontano

le loro vite, i loro sogni, le loro

aspirazioni. Un viaggio/pellegrinaggio

che sperimenta il cammino come pena

alternativa, già praticata in altri Paesi

europei, che abbatte le percentuali di

BOEZ - Andiamo Via is a docu-series

co-produced by Rai Fiction and Stemal

Entertainment, aired on Rai Tre from the

2nd to the 13th of September. It shows the

physical and emotional path of expiation of six

young people, condemned and inserted in a

special programme of probation. Alessandro,

Francesco, Kekko, Maria, Matteo and Omar

walk from Rome to Santa Maria di Leuca. Step

by step, assisted by a guide, they will tell about

their lives, their dreams, their aspirations. A

journey-pilgrimage that shows probation,

practiced by many European countries, that

fight high recidivism percentages.

Pannicelli, directed by Roberta Cortella and

Marco Leopardi, BOEZ is the first TV product

that talks about these themes: an experiment

with a strong social impact, made with the

support of the Ministry of Justice.

Galina Evtushenko

Galina Evtushenko è una nota e

pluripremiata regista-documentarista

russa. Autrice in qualità di regista,

sceneggiatrice e di produttore di più

di 30 film, prevalentemente di nonfiction.

In particolare, si è distinta

nel genere delle biografie di scrittori

e artisti russi, dedicando i suoi film

fra gli altri a figure come Lev Tolstoj,

Anton Cechov, Aleksandr Puškin,

Vsevolod Mejerchol’d, Dziga Vertov.

Insegna all’università RGGU di Mosca

ed è membro di numerose giurie

internazionali di cinema. Ha fondato lo

studio cinematografico ROSA, di cui è

direttore artistico.

Traccerà un doppio ritratto di Tolstoj e

Gandhi a partire dal suo documentario

Tolstoj e Gandhi: doppio ritratto in un interno

d’epoca (Kinostudija “Roza” 2016, 54').

Galina Evtushenko is an award-winning

Russian filmmaker. She made over 30 films

as a director, writer and producer, primarily

non-fiction. In particular, she mastered the

genre of biographies of Russian authors and

artists, dedicating her films to Lev Tolstoj,

Anton Cechov, Aleksandr Puškin, Vsevolod

Mejerchol’d, Dziga Vertov, among many

others. She teaches at RGU University

in Moscow and is a member of many

international film juries. She founded ROSA,

a film production company of which she is

artistic director.

She will paint a double portrait of Tolstoj and

Gandhi drawing from her documentary Tolstoj

and Gandhi.

Amita Shankar

Amita Shankar è un noto nome nella

scena teatrale e culturale anglo-asiatico.

È attiva nelle arti e nello spettacolo

come imprenditrice e artista. Tra le

tante attività, Amita è direttore creativo

di ORZU Arts, festival centro-asiatico

basato a Londra. È inoltre un’attrice

affermata e promotrice di Women and

Cinema. Proprio su questo argomento

ha tenuto una conferenza a Londra nel

luglio 2018, nella cornice del Rainbow

Film Festival.

Celebreremo con l’imprenditrice indiana

il 150° anniversario della nascita del

Mathma Gandhi .

Ms. Amita Shankar is a renowned name on

the British-Asian theatre and cultural scene.

She has been active across the Arts and

Entertainment panorama both as a business

entrepreneur as well as being an artiste

herself, acting on stage. Among her various

achievements, Amita is Creative Director of

ORZU Arts, the London-based Central Asian

festival. She is also an accomplished actor and

champion of Women and Cinema and led a

highly acclaimed conference on this topic in

London in July 2018 as part of the Rainbow

Film Festival.

Together, we will celebrate the 150th

anniversary of Gandhi’s birth.

Qui siamo ormai incontentabili,

più abbiamo e più vogliamo, ci

dimentichiamo delle cose che contano

davvero, ma lì, dall’altra parte del

mondo, ho visto tanta povertà ed ho

incontrato tanti cuori pieni di amore,

tante persone che, nonostante abbiano

poco, sono ricche dentro, non perdono

il sorriso.

Se c’è qualcosa che vorrei imparassimo

tutti da loro è proprio l’essere contenti

di ciò che si ha, smettiamola di

volere sempre di più, ci sarà sempre

qualcuno che avrà situazioni peggiori,

accontentiamoci, aiutiamoci,

condividiamo ciò che abbiamo.»

Aurora Vision opera nel mondo per

diffondere la speranza e mettere in luce

le tante esperienze positive che spesso

non hanno voce.

Abbiamo attualmente in catalogo

36 tra documentari, cortometraggi,

e reportages. In 5 anni, i nostri film

sono stati selezionati in 107 festival

internazionali e hanno ricevuto oltre

40 premi e riconoscimenti in tutto il

mondo.

Le produzioni di Aurora Vision sono

principalmente a tema missionario.

Abbiamo quindi ideato una mostra dei

poster e di alcuni scatti significativi per

portare l’attenzione sul significato della

missione e in particolare per raccontare

storie di persone che dedicano la loro

vita alla missione.

I 12 poster realizzati dal giovane artista

Giacomo Martinoli saranno esposti

insieme a 8 scatti di Ferran Paredes

Rubio e Asaf Ud Daula.

Un viaggio in Thailandia, Etiopia,

Messico, USA, Ghana, Giappone,

Uganda, Marocco, Sri Lanka, Kenya,

Tanzania e Albania per conoscere e

scoprire la bellezza dell’opera di questi

giganti del bene.

Aurora Vision operates in the world to spread

hope and shed light on the many positive

experiences that often do not have a voice.

So far, we have made 36 documentaries, short

films and reportages. In 5 years, our films have

been selected in 107 international film festivals

and received over 40 awards all around the

world.

Aurora Vision’s productions are primarily on

the theme of mission. We therefore created

an exhibition of our film posters, and some

significant photos to bring attention to the

meaning of mission, and to tell stories of

people who dedicate their lives to it.

The 12 posters were designed by the young

artist Giacono Martinoli, and they well be

exposed together with 8 pictures by Ferran

Paredes Rubio and Asaf Ud Daula.

A journey to Thailand, Ethiopia, Mexico, USA,

Ghana, Japan, Uganda, Morocco, Sri Lanka,

Kenya, Tanzania and Albania to get to know

and discover the beauty of the work of these

heroes without capes.

Narratè© è un vero e proprio tè

narrante che unisce due tradizioni

millenarie, il tè e la lettura. Un inedito di

food souvenir composto da una teabag

alla quale abbiamo collegato un libretto

la cui lettura dura esattamente il tempo

d’infusione (5 minuti).

Orchestra Fuoritempo

L’Orchestra Fuoritempo nasce

nell’estate 2009. L’idea era quella di

raggruppare i ragazzi della comunità

presso l’oratorio per animare un po’ il

borgo nelle giornate calde d’estate.

Il lavoro estivo, fatto soprattutto di

prove, è servito per far innamorare i

ragazzi alla loro orchestra, per stimolare

in loro la voglia di migliorare e di

trovare nuovi equilibri personali e nei

confronti del gruppo, ma soprattutto a

riscoprire l’emozione della musica.

Negli anni la giovane orchestra ha

partecipato a molti concerti compresi

alcuni all’estero. Il più importante

quello in Israele nell’ambito del

progetto Officina Medio Oriente.

Orchestra Fuoritempo started in summer

2009. The idea was to group teens from the

community at the local oratory to animate

the village during the warm summer days. The

summer job, mostly made up of rehearsals,

made the guys fall in love with their orchestra;

it stimulated their will to improve and to

find a new personal and group balance, but

more importantly, to rediscover the emotion

of music. Throughout the years, the young

orchestra has been part of many concerts,

including several abroad. The most important

was the one in Israel, in the context of the

project Officina Medio Oriente.

SeeSaw DC

Nasce, nel giugno 2017 a Riva del

Garda, SeeSaw Dance Company,

una giovane compagnia di danza

contemporanea. Quattro ballerine:

Veronica Boniotti, Jasmine Bresciani,

Ambra Calvia, e Federica Danaj con

background diversi, fusi in una stessa

linea di lavoro.

Ricerca costante, intensità e significato

sono i fondamenti della compagnia. La

compagnia ha debuttato con The Drop a

febbraio 2018 all’Auditorium Melotti di

Rovereto, ad aprile ha partecipato come

ospite al festival ENIGMAFest di Roma

e alla presentazione di Trento Doc, e si

è esibita al teatro Sanbàpolis di Trento

a luglio.

Quest’anno presenteranno Tabù: «Le

abitudini ci rendono schiavi di un

credo senza significato. Possono essere

indifferenti, lodevoli ma anche dannose.

Come rendersi conto di esserne succubi,

in catene? Come romperle? Forse solo

una forte ragione, un nobile obiettivo,

una missione collettiva può spingerci

oltre, nutrendoci dell’urgenza di

estinguerle. Come un Totem, essa può

unire, nel rispetto dell’altro, creando

una trama più forte di qualsiasi catena.»

Created in 2017 in Riva del Garda, SeeSaw

Dance Company are a young contemporary

dance company. Four dancers - Veronica

Boniotti, Jasmine Bresciani, Ambra Calvia,

and Federica Danaj - merge their different

backgrounds in the same line of work.

Constant research, intensity, and meaning, are

the foundation of the company. They made

their debut with The Drop, in February 2018 at

the Auditorium Melotti in Rovereto. In April

they were part of the ENIGMAFest festival in

Rome and the presentation of Trento Doc,

and in July they performed at the Sanbàpolis

theatre in Trento.

This year, they present Taboo: «Habits enslave

us within a meaningless creed. They can be

indifferent, laudable but also damaging. How

can we realise whether we are subject to them,

in chains? How can we break them? Perhaps

only a strong reason, a noble objective,

a collective mission can push us beyond,

nourishing us with the urgency to quench

them. Like a Totem, this can unite, in the

respect of the other, creating a narrative that is

stronger than any chain.»
