HEALTH AWARENES

To keep these case numbers so low, the government has enacted a strict lockdown, in which

public and private transportation is heavily limited, and people need to walk to purchase food and

supplies. These measures have been effective in limiting the spread of the disease, but they make

accessing healthcare and other essentials quite difficult. Since we work in many high-

HIV,elderly,youth,Non-Communicable communities,research,public health practices, Health

Education and promotion, we are worried about making sure that people living with HIV can

access the anti-retroviral medication (ARVs) that their lives depend on ARVs are available at the

facilities, but right now people are not able to travel to reach them.

There are also a lot of rumors about COVID-19 circulating in the communities that we serve, and

there are not many ways to access reliable information.

In line with that, here has been Kavijo Health Foundation’s approach to this crisis

We need your support to continue to provide vital health awarenesses. Kavijo Health Foundation

has already spread reliable information in the communities that we serve. We have also

committed to keeping all of our 6 Volunteers supported at least through December 31.

Your donations will help us provide distribute critical health promotion messaging to help

prevent new cases of the disease.
