Growing up, I would spend hours painting pictures with my mother, who was an excellent
artist. The best part was when a watercolour was finished, as I could then seek out
the image of a small mouse, hidden for my pleasure, within her painting. My mother’s
captivating efforts to encourage imagination and participation led to my love of art
and what ultimately became a long-standing career in graphic design and photography.
This idea of playing cat and mouse has given us the
inspiration for a new monthly competition... Hidden
throughout this magazine are five other mice, just
like the one here (but smaller) for you to find.
