Assisting Leitrim Families In Need

Since the onset of the Covid-19 crisis, Leitrim Development

Company has been operating a food delivery service to

families in need. In cooperation with Food Cloud, local

food producers and supermarkets, our staff and volunteers

have been delivering much needed food throughout the

county daily.

We are working with Breffni and Mohill Family Resource

Centres to ensure that all families in need are provided for.

It would be impossible to provide this service without the

good will of the Foodhub, suppliers and the referrals from

HSE social workers, St Vincent de Paul, Tusla, youth

services and local community groups.

5 Ways To Wellbeing

Emailing, calling, texting or even writing a letters are great ways to

keep in touch.

Keep a routine that involves walking, running, cycling or

gardening.

Taking a reflective moment to appreciate our immediate

surroundings is beneficial. Taking notice can include spotting the

changing seasons while on a walk, the birds, and trees.

Make time to learn something new like a card game, a breathing

technique or learning a new word in a different language each day.

Many local groups and volunteers have stepped forward to give

generously of their time and talents – let’s celebrate this national

trait!
