FOREWORD / Contemporary Exhibition catalogue / 6 - 11.10.2011 Foreword exhibition was opened in Baku on the 5th of October 2011 by newly established art institution YARAT Contemporary Art Space, headed by young and aspiring artist Aida Mahmudova. YARAT Contemporary Art Space is not just a group of like-minded artists, co-operating on a common aesthetic basis but rather a professional institution with an elaborate program. Its main goal is to support young contemporary artists of Azerbaijan on a highly professional level. In this concern YARAT Contemporary Art Space is planning to hold different kind of events on a regular basis including local and foreign exhibitions, festivals, symposiums, trainings and master-classes for young people with participation of renowned international players of the art-world. All those events are aimed at promoting contemporary Azerbaijanian art abroad. According to the press-release it is also planned to “hold educational events aimed at developing and promoting contemporary Azerbaijanian art as well as scientific, art learning, and humanitarian conferences, panel discussions with participation of renowned Azerbaijani and international art experts. All the speeches, lectures and reports will be further published in order to improve scientific aspect s of contemporary art.” It means that the intentions of this newly formed organization are rather bold and long running. артыг бир нечя ониллик ярзиндя мювжуд олан
“узаглашма” адландырылан мейля мцвафигдир ки,
бу заман ряссамлар институсионал чярчивялярдян
хилас олмаьа жящд эюстяряряк, бязян цмумиййятля
инжясянятля баьлы олмайан башга мякан вя
яразиляря истигамятлянирляр.
Ясярлярин яксяриййятинин айры-айры, чох вахт о
бириляриндян тяжрид едилмиш залларда тягдиматы факты
да експозисийанын хейриня олмушдур. Бу, биринжиси,
конкрет ряссамларын микро-фярди сярэиляри щиссини
йарадырды – ахы, залларда няинки видеоинсталлйасийалар,
щям дя камера, “дивар” ишляри дя йерляшдирилмишди.
Отаьа дахил оларкян, сейрчи конкрет
мцяллифин фярди аляминя баш вурур, санки онун
шяхси сярэисиня эялмиш олурду. Икинжиси, ряссамларын
“дахили алямлярини” айырмагла, тяшкилатчылар ряссамларын
цмуми (груп щалында йох!) сярэиляриндя
ясярляри бир ващид мяканда йерляшдирилян заманы
експозисийада гачылмаз олан хаос вя уйьунсузлугдан
хилас олмушдулар. Бу щалда, щятта рущян бирбирляриня
йахын олан ряссамларын ясярляри “мцбащися
едир”, бир-бириня мане олур – ахы, ясярляри сярэийя
чыхарылан ряссамлар шяхси тяжрцбясиня, характер,
енерэетика, темперамент вя тяфяккцрцня эюря
фярглидирляр. Еля експозисийа мяканынын йарымчыг,
бош, сялигясиз, билярякдян ращатсыз олмасы да
сярэинин мягсядиня – щадисяйя експериментал
характер ашыламаг вя сейрчини креатив просессуаллыьа,
йяни йарадыжы просесин щяля битмямяси, парылтылы
“ямтяя” габламасына гапылмамасы, яксиня, инди
вя бурада, жанлы сейрчилярин эюзц юнцндя жанлы
шякилдя интенсив йаранмасы дурумуна гярг етмяк
истяйиня мцвафиг иди.
