•Lenalidomide is a immunomodulatory agent class of drug sold
under the trade name Revlimid which is an oral cancer drug.
•In 2005 FDA approved Lenalidomide for the treatment of
Myelodysplastic syndromes .
•And in 2006 FDA approved for Multiple Myeloma combination with
Dexamethasone .
•In 2013 FDA approved Lenalidomide for Mantle Cell Lymphoma (a
cancer of white blood cells).
Lenalidomide combination with dexamethasone used to treat
multiple myeloma (a type of blood cancer).
It is also used to treat patients suffering from anemia due to
Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS).
Lenalidomide is a capsule so take it through the mouth. Gulp the
whole capsule with water, don't break, chew or crush it. Don’t take 2
times doses at same time follow guidelines prescribed by your doctor.
