A civil passportwill be enough for buying a flightticket. For entering the RussianFederation foreign citizens have topresent a valid identity documentand a visa.To obtain an entry visa a foreigncitizen has to apply to the RussianEmbassy or Consulate. The validity period foran electronic visa is 30 calendar days,the duration of stay may not exceed8 days. An e-visa is issued within 4calendar days, including weekendsand bank holidays. Electronicvisas are issued free of chargeand do not require any invitationsor confi rmations.
