I would like to thank my lecturers Matthew Kennedy, Fiona Snow, Julian King and Clyde Doyle
for their exstensive knowledge and support, with special thanks to Ger Clancy for his
continuous guidance and encouraging words.
I greatly appreciate my dad Sean Smyth and my mom Erlinda Smyth for being there for me
every step of the way. Thank you to Alex Devenne for the moral support throughout. Finally
thanks to my family for putting up with the mess I made in finishing my project up at home.
Finally, I wish the best of luck to all of my classmates and peers, We have found ourselves in a
very difficult position with the emergence of Covid-19 in the midst of our final year project.
However, this has been an opportunity to test ourselves and our abilities, and it has shown us
what we are capable of in the face of adverse situations.

This project has definitely been the hardest piece
that I have ever worked on, but it has also been the
most rewarding. This was a huge challenge and I
loved every step, I became highly knowledgeable in
the techniques used in this process partially because
of the large size of the project! Every step was long
and rigorous but the outcome was worth it. It was
unfortunate that I did not complete this project in a
studio with my peers, but I have learned to
overcome many challenges on my own. I will
continue to challenge myself by pursuing new
difficult projects and I will use the skills I've
acquired through to surmount any obstacle I might
face.
