MATT:

Uhhh, this is so mouthwatering! Dang this orange is fine! How do you like your Burgundy, buddy?

SIMON:

I have had better, its a quiet rounded taste, the vines must be elderly. Maybe one or two more years in the cellar and it would be more

suited for drinking.

SIMON:

I must say, I can’t believe you want to drink those unfiltered beverages, the Georgian wines are only drinkable when paired with goat

cheese and pickled greens, and it’s not nearly as refined as the French regional producers.

MATT:

What? Are you serious?! The Georgians have been producing wine for 8000 years, the French 3000!

MATT:

And it’s much more detailed and rich on minerals than most other sulfurous corporate wineries.

Please have your facts intact before you speak up...

SIMON:

Oh geez. Do you really believe that has anything to do with the taste? France is a country of elegance, and it shows in the cuisine.

French food is way better than most other, there’s a reason why all chefs are educated there? Psst.

MATT:

Elegance? The spirit in the glass is the only thing I’m concerned with. Don’t you ever reflect on your bias? I mean, as a european man,

clearly preferring French wine over Georgian? Even tho they were the first?

SIMON:

Uhmm, I guess...you have a point. But factual, I would argue that the French, as a western colonial empirical power, have had enormous

economic wealth and cultural surplus to refine and develop a complex and more distinct taste spectrum than most other nations.

With power comes artistic material complexity!

MATT:

Simon, I’m here to have a good time and relax. Please let us not argue any more, I guess we’re both right? - Right? I mean, I love my

Georgian and you the French? Maybe both are great in the eye of the right context.
