Here are six ways to reduce the strainon your eyes when working on a computer:1. Use Proper LightingA main cause of eyestrain is improperlighting. Excessively bright light frominterior lighting or windows should beavoided. A good rule of thumb is that theambient lighting in your computerworkspace should be about half as brightas that in the rest of the office.You can cut down on some of theunnecessary light by using lowerintensity light bulbs and by havingblinds or drapes on the windows. Plus, ifpossible, position your computer screento the side of any windows rather thandirectly in line with them.2.
