My thought was, What can theair fryer do that I canâ€t do with my oven? I admit I was skeptical. The first recipe I tested wasmy Buttermilk Oven â€œFriedâ€• Chicken from my first cookbook, The Skinnytaste Cookbook. Therecipe came out perfectly crispyâ€”golden chicken that was juicy and perfectly cooked on theinsideâ€”and in half the time it would have taken in the oven. I was amazed.Â I started testing allmy fried favoritesâ€”french fries, chicken wings, onion rings, breaded chicken cutlets. I was reallyimpressed!
