The Southern California Rose of Tralee Committee of the Irish Fair Foundation, Inc. is
pleased to invite young girls five to twelve years old to participate as Rose Buds at the
Twenty-eighth Annual St. Patrick’s Day Grand Ball and Rose of Tralee Debutante
Presentation on Saturday, March 17, 2012, in the Grand Ballroom of the Atrium Hotel at
Orange County John Wayne Airport in Newport Beach.
The Rose Buds will participate in the entire Rose of Tralee program including the Garden
Party on February 26, 2012, and also will learn about Irish and Irish American culture and
assist the 2012 Southern California Rose of Tralee Debutantes.
The highlight of the Rose Buds’ participation will be when they lead the Rose Debutantes
at their presentation in the Grand Ballroom at the St. Patrick’s Day gala Grand Ball and
conclude with a special Rose Bud waltz with their fathers.

Registration deadline is February 25, 2012.

RULES:
ROSEBUD APPLICATION
1. Rosebud must be 5 to 12 years old.
2. Rosebud must be of Irish birth or ancestry.
3. Rosebud must provide a $75 fee with this application.
4. Rosebud must attend scheduled activities for the Southern California Rose of Tralee Program.
5. Rosebud’s family must purchase a table of 5 tickets to the St. Patrick’s Day Ball.
6. If Rosebud has a sister in the Rose Presentation or as another Rosebud, the 5 ticket requirement is
waived but the Rose Bud still must pay the $75 application fee.
