If your Roku streaming device is
brand new and you would like to
customize it, let us provide a few
updates here
Settings are available to customize
your device screen. If your device is
brand new, begin to activate the
device

Device activation
• Find the HDMI port to connect the device to
the TV
• Select the settings to activate the Network
• If the connection is active, link your device to
the Roku account
• Find the code and then provide the code
navigating to the page, Roku.com/link
• If you come across issues and errors, use the
available tips and tricks to resolve it

To customize the settings
• Go to the Display settings to choose the
required Language
• Move your favorite channels to the home
screen so that it’s easy to operate the device
• Use the option, My feed to find your favorite
channels easily
• Select the option, Follow and you will receive
a notification when your favorite Movies and
TV shows are available

• Select the channel and tap on the option, Remove, if you do
not want to stream a particular channel
• Navigate to the main menu and select the option, Screen saver.
Select the best theme so that your device screen looks good
• If you would like to block a particular content and do not
want your kids to access, customize and set the Parental
control
• Also, make sure that the account linked to your device is
secure. You can use a Roku account Pin to prevent the
unauthorized usage
