Visual artist, painter, draughtperson, dessigner
Born in 1981 in Odessa. She lives and works in Cracow.
From 2000-2004 she studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (diploma in Prof. Stanisław Rodziński’s
studio), in the years 2002-2008 she studied interior design at that Academy of Fine Arts (vote of approval in the studio
of Prof. Andrzej Głowacki). Co-founder of the „Seven” artistic group, within which two international projects were
realized: Confrontationen/Confrontations, (Berlin, Cracow) in 2006 and Far - Near (Cracow, Kiev) in 2009.
She opened a doctoral dissertation in the field of fine arts, in the artistic discipline of fine arts at the Faculty of Painting
of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 2019.
Author of painting series: „Sonder” (since 2018); „America new experience” (from 2017); „Deja vu” (from 2014); „The
Shy” (from 2013); „Deja vu” (from 2014); „Fragment of light” (since 2010); „Face to Face” (since 2003) in 2006 and
Far - Near (Cracow, Kiev) in 2009.
She developed a project of polychromy for the chancel in the Saint Archangel’s Church in Bielce, Moldova. Member of
the Union of Polish Fine Arts Artists of the Cracow District. Founder of the author’s studio Artis STUDIUM in Cracow
in 2011.
Author of seven individual and several group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Works in private collections in Poland,
France, Germany, USA United States, Russia, Romania, Ukraine and Moldova.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I draw inspiration for my visual worlds from various sources. Many motives come from experiences, emotional delights
and
euphoria. I like to paint people in dialogue with myself the most. I am inspired by my feelings expressed by facial
expressions or body gestures. I wish to capture emotional of a person, their moods, reactions to the world and to
the other person. I use a wide range of situations and emotional states from joy to sadness, from disappointment to
delight. I am also interested in painting a figure in relation to space and landscape.
In my painting compositions I formally refer to colour field painting, art informel abstract expressionism and metaphorical
art of figuration. I often concentrate on surreal imaginary situations. For this purpose I use the traditional oil
technique on the linen canvas substrate. In the last period of my work I have tried to combine various types of measures
characteristic of many fields of art: painting, drawing, mural, collage, artistic fabric, handmade paper, making
interior design and I will continue to search for the right form for creative solutions.
The need to identify myself, experiment, discover „my own self”, encourages me to abandon what was an affirmation
of the external world to distinguish what we call the internal world, the emotional one. I allow abstraction to permeate
with restrained expression of the real world. In painting I am balancing, moving from the workshop realism to
a workshop informel and an expressive gesture, somewhere between the past and the present. I am replacing one
experience with the other one.
Colour has become a medium between the real and the imaginary world. The explosion of colours and the silencing
of fuzzy colours, like two worlds: Internal and external, where colour is the medium of mood. The illusory indecision
between realism and painting expression has the following consequences is to reveal the elusive nature of emotion.
Images of a gesture, a trace, that starts to mean, speak in a picture. Free play on canvas enables a combination of
realistic, fantastic and symbolic elements in the expression of depicted spiritual states.
For me, the sense of creating works of art with a rich emotional charge is the creative process itself, like moving into
a different dimension. In the game of strikes of the brush on the canvas I can see the worlds and my imagination
tells me how to form it, I also encourage the viewer to play the game, to reflect. I talk about concrete scenes from
dreams, from life, visions from imagination. I am seeking the truth, the essence of things. Colour spots on my palette
awake various associations. Drawings and quick sketches are for me a notebook of associations and the beginning
of new images. This is how the following works were created: „Merged III’(2009), ‚Merged II’(2009), ‚Released’ (2009),
‚Great Explosion’(2018), ‚Over the Jordan’ (2009), ‚On the Jordan’ (2009), ‚Heel’ (2009), „Crucifixion” (2004). Tak
powstały obrazy: „Scaleni III”(2009), „Scaleni II”(2009), ”Uwolnienie” (2009), ”Wielki wybuch”(2018), „Nad Jordanem”
(2009), „Pieta”(2009), „Ukrzyżowanie”(2004).

Malerin, bildender Künstler, Zeichnerin, Projektantin
Geboren 1981 in Odessa. Lebt und arbeitet in Krakau. In den Jahren 2000-2004 Studium der Malerei an der Akademie der
Schönen Künste in Krakau (Diplom bei Prof. Stanislaw Rodzinski), von 2002 bis 2008 Studium der Innenarchitektur an derselben
Akademie . Abgangszeugnis bei Professor Andrzej Glowacki. Mitbegründerin der Künstlergruppe „Sieben“, im Rahmen
deren zwei internationale Projekte realisiert wurden: Konfronationen/Konfrontacje (Berlin/Krakau) 2006 sowie Nahe-Fern
(Krakau Kiev) 2009.
Sie eröffnete das Promotionsverfahren an der Akademie der Schönen Künste in Krakau im Jahre 2019.
Autorin von Malereizyklen: „Sonder“ seit 2018, „Amerika new experience“ seit 2017, „Deja vu“ seit 2014, „Die Schamhaften“
seit 2013, „Lichtfragment“ seit 2010, „ Von Angesicht zu Angeschicht“ seit 2003.
Sie schuf ein Polichromieentwurf für das Presbyterium der Kirche der Heiligen Erzengel in Bielce/Moldavien. Mitglied des
Vereins der polnischen bildenden Künstler des Krakauer Bezirks. Gründerin des Ateliers Artis STUDIUM in Krakau im Jahre
2011.
Autorin von sieben Einzellaustellungen und einem Dutzend von Gruppenaustellungen. Ihre Arbeiten befinden sich in privaten
Sammlungen in Polen, Frankreich, Deutschland, USA, Russland, Rumänien, Ukraine und Moldavien.
Statement der Künstlerin
Inspirationen für meine viusellen Welten schöpfe ich aus verschidenen Quellen. Viele Motive haben ihren Ursprung in Erfahrungen,
Erlebnissen, emotionalen Entzückungen, Euphorie. Am liebsten mag ich Menschen im Dialog malen. Ich werde von
den Gefühlen, die von der Mimik der Gesicheter und von der Körpergestik kommen, inspiriert. Ich möchte den emotionalen
Zustand eines Menschen festhalten, seine Stimmungen, Reaktionen auf die Umwelt und auf andere Menschen. Bei der Arbeit
schöpfe ich aus einem reichen Fundus von Situationen und emotionalen Zuständen: von Freude bis hin zur Trauer, von Enttäuschung
bis zur Entzückung. Von Interesse ist für mich auch das Figurenmalen in Relation zu Raum und Landschaft.
In meiner Malerei knüpfe ich mit meinen Kompositionen formal an color field painting, art informel, den abstrakten Experssionismus
und an die Kunst der metaphorischen Figuration. Oft konzentriere ich mich auf surrealistischen, imaginären Situationen.
Zu diesem Zweck benutze ich die traditionelle Ölmaltechnik auf Leinwand. In der letzten Schaffensphase versuchte ich
verschiedene Ausdrucksmittel aus mehreren Kunstgebieten zu verbinden: Malerei, Zeichnung, Wandmalerei, Collage, künstlerisches
Gewebe, Büttenpapier, Innearchitektur. Weiterhin werde ich versuchen für meine schöpferischen Unternehmungen
eine passende Form zu finden.
Die Notwendigkeit der Selbstidentifikation, der Experimentierung, der Entdeckung des eignen Selbst bewirkt, dass ich das
aufgebe, was vorher eine Affirmation der Aussenwelt war, um das hervorzuheben, das als Innenwelt, als Emiotionalwelt bezeichnet
wird.
Der Abstraktion erlaube ich, dass diese sich mit dezenter Expression durchdringt. Die Malerei ist für mich ein Balanceakt
zwischen Realismus , Informel und dem expressiven Gestus. Irgendwo zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart. Ich ersetze
die einen Erfahrungen durch andere. Die Farbe wird zum Medium zwischen der realen un der imgainären Welt. Die Explosion
der Farben und Dämpfung verschwomener Farben sind wie zwei Welten: die äussere und die innere Welt, wo die Farbe ein
Stimmungsträger ist. Einr illusorische Unentschiedenheit zwischen Realismus und malerischer Expression hat zum Ziel eine
Freilegung der ungreifbaren Natur der Emotionen, eines Gestus, einer Spur, die im Bild zu sprechen beginnen. Ein freies Spiel
von realistischen, fantastischen und symbolischen Elementen macht Darstellung der emotonalen Zustände erst möglich.
Der Schaffensprozess selbst, bei dem Kunstwerke mit reicher emotionaler Ladung entstehen, macht für mich den eigentlichen
Sinn meiner Kunst aus. Eine Verlagerung in eine andere Dimension. In dem Spiel von Pinselstrichen auf der Leinwand
sehe ich ganze Welten und meine Vostellungskraft flüstert mir zu. Ich gebe Form, ermutige den Zuschauer mitzuspielen, rege
zum Nachdenken an. Ich erzähle von konkreten, schon vorher gesehenen Szenen aus Träumen, aus dem Leben, aus meinen
Visionen. Ich suche nach einer Wahrheit, nach dem Wesen der Dinge. Farbkleckse auf meiner Palette wecken verschiedene
Assoziationen. Zeichnungen und flüchtige Skizzen sind ein Notizblock mit meinen Assoziationen und ein Beginn neuer Bilder.
So sind meine Bilder „die Verbundenen III“ (2009), „die Verbundenen Ii“ (2009), „Befreiung“ (2009) „Grosse Explosion“ (2018),
„am Jordan“ (2009), „Pieta“ (2009), „Kreuzigung“ (2004) entstanden.
