The question of whether to turn the other cheek or not is<br />
raised through two parallel lives a man is living in Africa<br />
where he works and in Denmark where he lives with his<br />
son, creating some heated moral dilemmas for this film’s<br />
characters and for us the audience. Danish director Susanne<br />
Bier returns to her trademark exploration of complex human<br />
emotions and an involving, multi-layered narrative for<br />
which she has gained resounding international recognition.<br />
