Being prepared for an emergency is the most effective way to
reduce the risk of injury and possibly death. The Kettle Moraine
YMCA offers certified health and safety courses designed to
respond to emergencies. These classes are open for members and
community participants.

CPR PROFESSIONAL - BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Ages 13+
The ASHI CPR Pro course will teach participants CPR and AED skills for
individual and two person rescues. This course is meant for professional
occupations where more advanced CPR skills are required. This is a 2 year
certification.

CPR PROFESSIONAL -
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT RECERTIFICATION Ages 13+
This is a recertification class for those whose ASHI & Red Cross CPR Pro
certification is about to expire. It is a three-hour course that reviews the skills
and any changes made to CPR Pro by ASHI.

FIRST AID Ages 13+
The ASHI First Aid course will teach participants how to control bleeding,
stabilize limbs if fractured or dislocated, care for those suffering from strokes
and heart attacks and much more.

INFANT, CHILD & ADULT CPR/AED Ages 13+
This course is for the non-professional looking to have a CPR and AED
certification. It will certify participants to provide care for adults, children and
infants in everyday settings.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT THE Y
Have your next birthday in the Family Adventure Pool!
• A 2.5-hour party held in the Family Adventure Pool and party room.
• A Y Birthday Party Host will set up and clean up the party.
• Party guests will have shared use of the Family Adventure Pool.
• Birthday child receives a Y birthday T-shirt.
• All youth party guests will receive a Y birthday cup.
• Parents must accompany children in the pool.
$215 for Members and $240 for Community Participants
Full Payment is due at time of booking. Please note that party
dates and times fill up quickly, so be sure to plan ahead! To book a

FAMILY PLAY TIME
MONDAY, AUGUST 31 – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23
The Y makes unwinding with your family easy. Family Play Time has
something for everyone. Kids can play and get their energy out while
parents connect for some valuable adult conversation. Staff will lead
those interested in a short group activity around 11:00 am each day. No
registration necessary. All ages are welcome, parents are responsible for
watching their own children.

FREE for members! Registration required for each date.
Each child must be registered. Registration closes 24
hours prior the date.
HOME ALONE SAFETY Ages 8-12
Participants in this class will learn about how to be safe when walking home
alone or when they are at home alone. It will include topics such as danger
recognition, fire safety, answering the door and phone when home alone, and
some basic first aid. Parents/Guardians will be asked to join us for the last 30
minutes of class, and participants will take home a safety workbook.

BABYSITTING COURSE Ages 11+
This course will teach participants the proper knowledge and skills to safely
and responsibly care for infants and children. They will also learn about best
practices when babysitting and basic first aid.
