IBM Open PTech is a free digital education platform to equip students with foundational knowledge on cybersecurity, IOT, AI and cloud computing and other technologies, plus professional
skills like critical and creative thinking, collaboration, how to prepare for jobs, and workplace skills. Open P-Tech as a collaboration platform will continue to onboard new content for
learning that is demand driven in areas of new technology use and their potential employment and innovation, in various Indian languages.
After student’s complete coursework on the platform, they can earn industry recognized “digital badges” that can demonstrate their knowledge and skills as they apply for employment or
higher education. The free platform also comes with a student progress dashboard to monitor progress and assign new content to students.
The platform is mobile friendly hence it allows students to access learning anytime, anywhere and receive industry accreditation.
