24/7 ‘One Hospital’ Command Center launched
The One Hospital Command
Center is expected to establish
links among healthcare
stakeholders and provide
real-time situational
awareness on hospital
capacity and availability of
medical personnel especially
during this time of public
health emergency.
Dating gusali ng CALABARZON
Regional Government Center,
gagawing ‘Isolation Facility’
“Launching of One Hospital
Command Center is timely
and the system will help
government to efficiently
oversee
coordination,
referral of patients across
health facilities and ensure
to have enough hospital beds
for moderate and severe
COVID-19 cases,” Galvez said.
Galvez said part of the NTF’s
fund would be allocated
for the operations of the
command center.
“Malaki ang magagawa ng
command center, upang
maiwasan na tumaas pa ang
fatality rate na kung saan ay
ipatutupad ang sistema para
sa mabilis na paghihiwalay ng
mga COVID patients, na nasa
kategoryang asymptomatic at
mild,” he added.
For his part, Duque said the
boost in coordination would
help hospitals avoid reaching
their critical capacities.
“Sa pamamagitan ng One
Hospital Command ay
maiiwasan din ang pagkapuno
ng mga ospital,” he said.
On the other hand, Treatment
Czar Vega thanked everyone
who chipped in terms of
resources and efforts to make
sure that the One Hospital
Command Center will be
running smoothly.
“The team will learn from
their efforts from this
launching on how best they
can improve services for
coordinated care,” Vega said.
The One Hospital Command
Center will also join into
a unified system, the two
command hubs of both the
DOH and the NTF.
To recall, the One Hospital
concept was formed last
month amid some tertiary
hospitals reaching critical
bed capacity due to a surge in
COVID-19 cases. (PIA NCR)

LUNGSOD NG CALAMBA,
Laguna, Agosto 5 (PIA)
--Iminungkahi ni Calamba
City Mayor Justin SB Chip eco
sa mga kinatawan ng National
Task Force (NTF)
Against COVID-19 na gawing
isolation facility ang gusali
ng dating CALABARZON
Regional Government Center
sa Barangay Mapagong, sa
lungsod na ito.
Ayon kay Mayor Chipeco, sa
ngayon, ito ay isang building
lamang na nakatiwangwang at
kailangan lamang ayusin ang
access road upang magamit
bilang isolation facility.
Agad naman itong inaksyonan
ni BCDA Pres. & CEO Sec.
Vivencio Dizon at tinawagan
ang may ari ng lupa na
kinatitirikan ng gusali at
pumayag na gawin itong
isolation facility na ikinatuwa
naman ni Mayor Chipeco.
Sinabi ni Sec. Dizon na
kapag naipaayos ang gusali,
hanggang 500+ isolation beds
ang maaaring ilagay dito.
Tiniyak din ni Dizon sa
pamahalaang panlalawigan
lalo-lalo na sa mga
punonglungsod ng limang
syudad sa Laguna na may
pinakamaraming kaso ng
COVID-19 na hindi sila
pababayaan ng NTF.
