Mini Gym
During the Mini Gym lessons, active participation
is requested from 1 parent or guardian during the
lesson. Bringing more supervisors and / or
brothers / sisters is not allowed.
Trial lesson
Only when there are still places available in one
of the gymnastics groups, is it possible for new
gymnasts to take a trial lesson. During the trial
lesson, parents may be present in the gym, we
ask the parents to leave the gym for the follow-up
lessons.
Clothes
During the gymnastics class, the gymnasts wear
a leotard or sportswear (t-shirt with shorts or
leggings) and bare feet.
Dressing room
- Make use of the designated changing rooms per group: Dressing room 1 [D1] or Dressing room 2 [D2]
- Wait in the dressing room for the trainer to pick up the (next) group
- Is your daughter able to change clothes independently? Parents please wait outside the changing room.
- Keep the changing rooms tidy (throw rubbish in the bins)

Holidays 2020-2021
There is no training during the national holidays
Autumn holidays: Sunday October 11, 2020 to Sunday October 18, 2020 (1 week)
Sinterklaas evening: Saturday December 5, 2020
Christmas holidays: Sunday December 20, 2020 to Sunday January 3, 2021 (2 weeks)
Spring break:

Open class
For all Recreation and Recreation Plus lessons, we have a open class twice a year, you may
attend an entire lesson, you can take a seat at the side of the gym.
> Open class week 1: Monday 7 to Saturday 12 December, 2020
> Open class week 2: Monday 19 to Saturday April 24, 2021
CITY CAMPS 2020-2021
Do you also want to train with other gymnasts during the holidays, learn new elements, play games
and be creative? Then sign up for the City Camp in Amsterdam! In the morning we train in the gym,
then we provide a healthy lunch and do something creative. In the afternoon we go back into the
gymnastics hall for even more gymnastics fun!
We have the following dates planned:

Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 October 2020
> Spring break:
Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 February 2021
Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 February 2021
> May holidays

Thursday 6 to Saturday 8 May 2021
* Dates are still subject to change, and will only continue if there is enough interest.

Terms
The gymnastics season is divided into two terms:
Term 1: August 31, 2020 to January 31, 2021
Term 2: February 1, 2021 to June 27, 2021

The invoices are sent by e-mail in two terms:
> Invoice term 1: approx. 1st week of September 2020
> Invoice term 2: approx. 3rd week of January 2021

- The additional costs (of KNGU membership, activities, extra training, etc.) are not included in the
tuition fee.
- The KNGU Membership of € 23, - will be charged on the first invoice.
- The tuition fee includes 9% VAT.
Registration
To finalize the registration, the online registration form for season 2020-2021 must be completed.

You can unsubscribe per half season
> Term 2 must be canceled by e-mail no later than December 21 (Christmas holidays)
> Term 1 (the next season) must be canceled by e-mail no later than July 1
Allowances
There are two options available to make participation in a
sports club possible for everyone:
1. Student allowance Amsterdam (Scholierenvergoeding)
- The ‘Scholierenvergoeding’ is an arrangements for schoolage
children aged 4 to 18 who live in Amsterdam and whose
parents have an income at social assistance level. The
contribution is intended for school costs, culthours and sports
activities, you will receive € 216 per school year.
2. Sport Youth Fund (Jeugdfonds Sport) or Stadspas
Amsterdam
- The Jeugdfonds Sport (JFS) wants to let as many children
as possible play sports. Only an intermediary can request
JFS. The contribution for tuition fee or sports attributes is €
300 per child per course year.
- This contribution can also be requested via the City Card of
the Municipality of Amsterdam (Stadspas Amsterdam). Mail
us a photo of the front and back of your child's City Pass and
we can process the application immediately.
- Be aware that if there is not enough credit on the Stadspas
for the current season, you will have to pay the costs of the
tuition fee yourself.

City Cup | June 2021
As usual, we close the gymnastics season with the City Cup! A fun competition for all gymnasts of
City Gymnastics (from recreational to national competitive athlete). For the gymnasts, this
competition is a great opportunity to show what they have learned in the past season. This closing
will be a festive occasion with many prizes, diplomas and a present. Parents and other interested
parties are very welcome to come and have a look! The exact date will be announced during this
season.
Recreation Plus
Gymnasts in the Recreation Plus groups, who do gymnastics 2 hours or more a week, can
participate in some competitions in the Amsterdam region (D3, D4 or ABC level) every season.
However, this is not mandatory.
Competition clothing
Gymnasts who participate in competitions and compete for City Gymnastics are obliged to
purchase the correct competition clothing every season.
- Recreation Plus level (D3, D4 or ABC): Club leotard (no compulsory clothing)
- Club leotard costs approx. € 50,-
Competition fee
Prior to a competition, the competition format and payment link will be sent by e-mail. This
payment link must be paid before the start of the competition. The competition fee will be
composed of, among other things, the gymnast entry fee, plus a jury contribution and / or fee for
trainers.
- Competition fee is approximately €15,- to €20,- per competition
> Please note! When canceling a competition (for whatever reason) the competition fee will still
have to be paid.

Club-Assistent
This Season City Gymnastics will be using a new membership &
administration system called "Club-Assistant". Our website will also be
renewed and we will be using the club app! In this way our
communication to all our athletes becomes more direct and clearer.
