leadership through the course of the Battle of Huertgen Forest. At the outbreak of the war he
volunteered for the join the army and served with the 8th infantry Division. After the war he
became a professional wrestler and promoter, most famous for his work as an announcer and
promoter for Houston Wrestling. His book Road to Huertgen was first published in 1962 and he
passed away in 1989.
