nterbrand is the world’s largest Brand<br />
Consultancy organization with 40 offices<br />
worldwide. Each of its six North American<br />
offices has dedicated client services teams<br />
working across multiple discipline specialties,<br />
and share many prospects and clients. As part<br />
of an initiative to build greater efficiency, they<br />
needed to create a common platform for collaboration,<br />
sales reporting, and facilitate stronger<br />
relationships with prospective clients.<br />
Business Problem and Goals<br />
� Interbrand needed one CRM solution for<br />
sales collaboration with prospects and<br />
customers. Multiple office locations were<br />
using separate CRM applications or none<br />
at all. The Dayton Interbrand Design Forum<br />
group was using <strong>Sage</strong> <strong>SalesLogix</strong>,<br />
the Cincinnati location was on <strong>Sage</strong>CRM.<br />
com, and the NY operations (largest user)<br />
was on Salesforce.com.<br />
� They also needed one, consistent forecast<br />
method across their entire organization<br />
to see a funnel of new and organic wins.<br />
The Challenges<br />
� Combine and deduplicate multiple databases<br />
from all locations with common<br />
prospect and clients.<br />
� Explore and understand various sales<br />
processes and unique business requirements<br />
for each location.<br />
� Develop consistency across the organization<br />
with some built in flexibility for differences<br />
between offices.<br />
� Create an Opportunity view capable of<br />
forecasting multiple solutions separately<br />
within one Opportunity and reporting<br />
the shared revenue split between Interbrand<br />
offices. Salesforce.com was unable<br />
to meet the custom requirements in this<br />
area.<br />

The Results<br />
� <strong>Sage</strong> <strong>SalesLogix</strong> was chosen over Salesforce.com<br />
to support the North American<br />
needs of Interbrand.<br />
� With <strong>SalesLogix</strong> and <strong>Simplesoft</strong> <strong>Solutions</strong>,<br />
Interbrand achieved an initial objective<br />
in their initiative for a cohesive<br />
and branded approach to the market in<br />
North America.<br />

solution. We took six different business<br />
disciplines within one organization and<br />
created a platform to help them achieve<br />
the OneFirm Initiative for Customer Intimacy.<br />

America and helped drive change at Interbrand<br />
by planning for differences required<br />

We are still hard at work on refining the process - to<br />
streamline and drive every efficiency possible. This<br />
system, the tool and the accompanying business<br />
process are becoming culture at Interbrand.<br />
And importantly, this will allow us to better collaborate...to<br />
provide the best solutions, with the right<br />
segments of our network involved, every time.<br />
