awards in sight!).
Have a good listen.

Great War Blues
(Pandev) © 2020
Soldier Blues, in a dale of passion
Winds of thunder, as the shells are crashin’
Never calming down
The Gods of war wear a smile not a frown
Contemplating
The flood of blood over the mud feeding the bud of hatred in which we all will drown
Billy’s not a hero, he’s just a poor old cockney
Sent to give his life for the leaders’ glory
Coffins comin’ home from the glorious battlefields
At Caporreto, Galicia, Gallipoli and Ypres
Verdun, Chemin des Dames, Tannenberg, and Jutland
Neuve Chapelle, Messines, Passchendaele and the Aisne
Arras and the Marne a Taxi to Beyond…
A war to end wars, lies fed they’re all yours!
TO OLD TIMES
(Pandev/Lamontagne) © 2020
So here we are old friend, back where we began
Goin’ at it again, doin’ the best we can
So let’s just sing…
So let’s just play, each note showing the way
Voices have cracked, arthritic fingers play
Songs from way back, from a younger day
Let’s have a glass of wine…
Let’s have a glass of wine, to toast to old times
I wanna close my eyes and have the music tickle my heart
Feel the notes fly by my ears whispering their art
Starry, starry nights
Days of America
Dreamin’ of spotlights
In fits of acromania…
Slow it down, you’re movin’ way to fast
Gotta make the mornin’, the day and the evenin’ last
Let’s have a glass of wine…
Let’s have a glass of wine, to toast to old times
I wanna close my eyes and have the music tickle my heart
Feel the notes fly by my ears whispering their art
Starry, starry nights
Days of America
Dreamin’ of spotlights
In fits of acromania…
Voices:
Benoit Lamontagne & Ivan Pandev
Waiting for the Hurricane
(M. Leduc/Pandev/A. Leduc) © 2020
A hurricane, ain’t no moonshine on River Creek
Clouds dancin’ like the Devil’s mane
Salt water creepin’ up to yer feet
Muscle Shoals is flooded, ain’t a note than can break free
‘Cept the scream of the winds howlin’ in from the sea
Nowhere to hide, no escapin’ the rising tide
Power is out and the lines are down
Isolatin’ every little country town
Boarded Windows and locked doors
Won’t stop the water seepin’ in through the floorboards
People huddled in town halls
Waitin’ for the winds and waters to fall
Wonderin’ how long this one will last
Ain’t their first hurricane and by far it ain’t their last
Oceans are up, ice caps meltin’ down
Currents run amok
As many jewels in Lucifer’s crown
Greed and unconsciousness both are faring well
Drivin’ the whole world and damin’ it to hell
People huddled in town halls
Waitin’ for the winds and waters to fall
Why can’t Power feel their pain
Without action it’ll happen again and again and again…
Electric Guitars: Alain Leduc
12-String Acoustic Guitar: Marc Leduc
Bass: Ivan Pandev

STOP THE WORLD – I’M GETTING OFF
(Baud/Bianchi/Kebaily/Pandev/Vincent) © 2020
You wake up in the morning and you roll out of bed
You're already at the office when the mist leaves your head
Is this what it all means
Or is there more to it, more than it seems
Monday to Friday there just ain't nothing else
You're so fed-up, you wish you're somebody else
Change how life goes
With new friends a new car a new life a new nose
Here we go again
Back where we began
It's gotta end or we'll just keep on going, going round the bend
Gotta forget all of that stuff, there's just one thing to say:
Stop the world, I'm getting off!
Is this what it all means
Or is there more to it, more than it seems
Seems like we're working more and more for less and less pay
Well it's all gotta stop, it’s gonna break up someday
Violence ain't no Holy Grail
But when it blows please pass me that Molotov cocktail
Here we go again...
This morning you woke up and you got out of bed
Everything seemed better, was no mist in your head
Alarm clock goes off it seems
Aw SHIT! It was just a dream
You're working more and more for less and less pay
It's gonna stop we'll bring it down someday
Violence ain't no Holy Grail
But when it blows please hand me that Molotov cocktail... And many more...

When life tears us apart
Breaking up my soul, breaking up my heart
I know that you’re still there… your with me anywhere
Miles away I know that you will come
And I’ll be singing here comes the son
Happy to see you my boy, I’m overwhelmed with joy
Sometimes it’s all too much
All of the heartache
I find solace is in that now I now know, at least I have a heart, to break….
I am here waiting on you
I’m at the gate, ready to see you through
Hold you in my arms, we’re both under the charm
Too many months, without you
Without my Boy, my Son, my Love
Nothing really rings true, both for me and you
Sometimes it’s all too much…
Your heart is with me where it belongs
Just listen to one of Harrison’s songs
We are in the stars, with Harrison’s guitars
I Love you, and you Love me
That’s how it is, how it should be
Forget all avatars, they melt to the sitars
Sometimes it’s all too much…
Intro & outro (Let It Be) by Stoyan Pandev (My Boy!)
POYEKHALI (ПОЕХАЛИ! – LET’S GO!)
(Pandev) © 2020
He was nothin’ but a simple country boy
Klushino is much like Dunkle, Illinois
Drinks may not be the same in the local bars
But at night when you look up you can see the very same stars
He just wanted to touch the sky
So he took to machines, for flyin’ high
In Saratov, it was his first Yak-18
Never imaginin’ how far it would take his dream
12th of April, 1961
He rode that Vostok higher than anyone
They gave him wings then they kept him on earth
Can’t risk a hero, for what that’s worth
Don’t need no Memphis to lose yourself
Star City outside Moscow will do just as well
In ’68, one last jump to the sky
The plane went down, nobody knows why
That is actually Yuri Gagarin you hear in the intro…
OLAF TERSHAVE’S MIRACLE ELIXIR
(Pandev) © 2020
My Bottle here’s as empty as you and me
I just wanna see no one
Cable’s on the fritz and I’m just loosin’ my wits
The silence here weighs a ton
The phone never rings the pad is doing weird things
I gotta find a way out
My mind is going soft… Bootmen are aloft
This is it, there is no doubt
Have a draught of Olaf Tershave
The Miracle elixir to make you rave
Ain’t nothin’ like it north of the Rio Grande
Makes a Sex on the Beach sound bland…
Bottle’s just as empty as you and me
I still don’t wanna see no one
Cable’s on the fritz and I’ve lost my wits
The silence here just weighs a ton
Phone never rings the pad is doing weird things
I gotta find a way out
My mind is going soft… and Bootmen are aloft
This is it, there is no doubt
Have a draught of Olaf Tershave
The Miracle elixir to make you rave
Ain’t nothin’ like it north of the Rio Grande
Makes a Sex on the Beach sound bland…
OLAF! OLAF! OLAF TERSHAVE!
POLITICALLY INCORRECT
(Laureillard/Pandev) © 2020
Can’t have a smoke considered worse than taking dope
Can’t have a drink what will people think
Can’t tell a joke without offending some or other folk
Micro-aggression puts us all into regression
You don’t need to be a dick
To have them zooming in on you
There’s always some self-righteous prick
With free time and nothing better to do
Mind what you say mind what you write mind what you think
They’ll get you for one word it doesn’t need to be written in ink
CCTV, the NSA and Echelon
Ain’t got nothing on flakes: one word and off they’re gone
You don’t need to be alt-right
To get caught up in a fight
You don’t need to be hard left
For your freedoms to be bereft
Tread carefully just not to go too far
Euphemisms are spewed not for the innocent but for the prude
Language in chains culture at a standoff
Just one last thing left to say… and that is: aww… FUCK OFF!
Why not just leave it all behind
A desert island I should find
Take off my clothes and get a tan
Just droppin’ out to be an ape man!
