A Question of Taste<br />
Have you ever pondered why your friend’s home<br />
looks like something out of Homes and Gardens<br />
magazine, and, despite your very best efforts, your<br />
home just doesn’t? Is good taste in furnishing and décor<br />
something that you’re born with or do you have to sit<br />

Millan Interiors, who are based in the pretty village of<br />

The driving force and inspiration behind the company is<br />
Debbie Peers who opened Millan Interiors in 2008. Her<br />
mum was a seamstress and, even from her early years,<br />
Debbie knew her creative path was carved for her. After<br />
leaving school Debbie studied hard at Art and Design<br />
and was rewarded with a career at ITV, where she stayed<br />
for nearly 20 years. Initially hired to design sets for TV<br />
shows, Debbie later was promoted to Producer before<br />
she realised her dream of opening Millan Interiors.<br />
Adele Headley, Debbie’s business partner, who lives in<br />
Eccleston, worked for a lighting design company for<br />
twelve years which gave her the inspiration to study<br />
design further. She firstly completed a HNC Interior<br />
Design and Architecture where she won the student<br />
of the year award, and then continued her studies at<br />
UCLAN to complete a BA Hons. Interior Design. With a<br />
few more awards on the way, she completed her threeyear<br />
course in two years before joining forces with<br />
Debbie at Millan Interiors.<br />
Millan Interiors is a one-stop shop; they supply paint,<br />
wallpapers, bespoke curtains & blinds, tracks, poles,<br />
cushions, carpets, furniture, lighting, and much more<br />
besides. They even have their own in-house workroom<br />
with a dedicated seamstress who has over 30 years<br />
experience in high quality, hand finished soft furnishings.<br />
Their knowledgeable curtain fitter with years of<br />
experience is an integral part of their team. He offers<br />
expert advice, helping you make informed choices.<br />
Millan also provide an upholstery service carried out<br />
by expert furniture craftsmen. Their services include<br />
