I have always been<br />
interested in photography<br />
and have taken snapshots<br />
since I was about 7 or<br />
8 years old. once I’ve<br />
captured a shot, it will be<br />
there for me to remember<br />
and look at anytime.<br />
I feel that some photos tell<br />
the story of my life – where<br />
I’ve been, people I’ve met<br />
and all the beauty that<br />
god gives us to see will<br />
be forever captured in the<br />
photos. I take nature shots<br />
because I love nature and it<br />
sometimes changes forever,<br />
but I’ve got my photos to<br />
remember.<br />

I remember hearing or<br />
reading that “a good photo<br />
stops the moment from<br />
running away.”<br />
I took the photo of the old<br />
man in Venice. the old<br />
soul may have passed<br />
away by now, but he lives<br />
on in my photo of him. a<br />
quiet, gentile soul just sitting<br />
on a bench in the middle of<br />
the noon day sun.
