Welcome to Profound Radio, a station for music
lovers of House, Deep House, Tech House, Trance
and Techno sounds
We aim to bring you old and new tunes from some of the best and up and coming DJ’s worldwide.
We love what we do, and it shows in our music. With more than 25 years of experience in the field, we
know our industry like the back of our hands. There is no challenge too big or too small and we
dedicate our utmost energy to every project we take on.
We broadcast online 24 hours a day, with new sets broadcast daily, between around 5pm and 1am
(BST), sets will then rerun throughout 24 hours until the next new set is broadcast.
Want to DJ on our shows? It’s as simple as sending us a one hour mix in mp3 format, your name and a
black and white photo to info@profoundradio.com. If you come on board and broadcast with us, you will
feature on our Profound Radio flyers which are shared across the usual social media channels.
Do you require an advertising flyer for a project you have coming up? Or maybe a DJ for a party?

There are a number of chat rooms on our server
No harassing other users
Harassment of other users in any form (including but not limited to, sexual, racial,
religious, and political) is strictly prohibited. Please treat other members with respect.
All harassment messages will be deleted from the chat room by Admin and members
who post such messages will be warned and potentially temporarily removed from
the chat room. Continuing to harass another member, despite a private warning and
a temporary removal from the chat room, will result in permanent exclusion/ban from
the chat room.
No flooding or spamming
Interruption of the flow of a chat room session, with the use of large fonts, repetitive
typing, advertising of other websites, or any activity which makes it difficult for
members to maintain a conversation is prohibited.
No posting of private contact information
For your own personal security and safety, please do not give out your own personal
information in any of the chat rooms, such as, e-mail address, phone number, home
address etc. All messages containing private contact information will be removed by
Admin and members who continue to post personal contact information in the chat

rooms, despite warnings from Admin, will result in permanent exclusion/ban from the
chat rooms.
No impersonating other members
Changing your screen name or the creation of multiple user accounts, with the
intention of impersonating another member is considered a form or harassment and
is prohibited. Members are strongly encouraged to use only one user profile for
discussions in the chat room. Impersonating another member will result in
permanent exclusion/ban from the chat rooms.
Settling disputes and personal conflicts
Please be respectful towards other chatroom users within the chat rooms. If there
are personal issues and disagreements between members, then please take these
conversations to your private chat / direct message facility. Members arguing in the
chat rooms, despite being asked by Admin to take the conversation to private chat
and failure to do so may result in a temporary chat room ban.
Reporting of other members
Should a member have a concern, regarding another member and wishes to report
or complain about them or their behaviour, then they must do so directly to Admin,
by direct message or via email, in the form of a complaint.
Reporting of members via public message posting, within the chatrooms is
prohibited.
Discussion of chatroom / member complaints
It is prohibited to discuss any moderation process or complaint within any of the
chatrooms.
For the benefit of all parties, these issues will be dealt with and expedited in private
to respect the privacy of any parties involved.
The discussion of emails / direct messages / Admin communications, within the
public chatrooms is prohibited.
Blocking
Members are reminded that there is an option, to personally block, any other
member within the chat rooms. By clicking on the username, members can block any
person who they do not wish to interact with.

Blocking a member by another user, will result in you not seeing content posted by
the blocked member within chatrooms.
Chat room Admin / Admin
During all advertised broadcasting schedules (UK time) there will be a member of the
Profound Admin team within the main chat room, who also has access to all other
chatrooms.
Their role is to facilitate the running of the scheduled broadcast, introduce the
playing music sets to the chatroom audience and to monitor the chatrooms in
general for the benefit of all members.
Admin members are present to help and to make the chatroom’s a pleasant and safe
place for members to chat.
If you have an enquiry or problem, please direct message Admin in the first instance
and they will be happy to help you.
Please be respectful of any Admin messages and requests. It is strictly against the
site rules to block chat room Admin.
Should you attempt to block any site Admin, despite being asked to no to so, you
may be banned from the chatrooms.
