introduction 

ABP IZMIR FACTORY 

It deals with the manufacturing of material handling equipment of agricultural and industrial materials in 

the production area of 5500 m2 established in Cigli / Izmir under the control of its technical team. Our 

firm, together with material handling equipment that it is producing, is also leader for sales and complete 

system assembly of grain storage silos and grain dryers manufactured by GSI, American by having 

distributorship. 

Our firm, which is established to cover the needs of farmers, grain traders wheat flour mills, animal 

feed mills, oil extraction plants, animal breeders and poultry companies, reached such a level in time 

to offer services to similar demands of different sectors apart from food sector. Within this scope, it 

also becomes possible to carry out the material handling equipment need of iron and steel, mine etc. 

establishments and any designed machinery and steel construction productions. 

In the Storage and material handling equipment demands, the appropriate silo and equipment selection 

that may completely cover the capacity that the customer needs is determined according to ideal site 

layout and the facility is designed; after getting the customer approval, the production process is started. 

The system is run and engaged after the site assembly. ABP continues to give support via technical 

support after this process that it provides from the design stage up to the system run.

GSI silos 

In Storage and Conveying System requests, the silo and equipment is 

selected which enables the product to be stored in suitable conditions 

depending on the physical properties of the product and with capacity 

that the customer needs. The facility is designed in 3D as per the ideal site 

layout in line with this information. After getting the customer approval, 

manufacturing process is passed. Site assembly is made with the same 

precision and the system is run and engaged under the control of our 

technical team. 

ABP continues to give support via technical support after this process that 

it provides from the design stage up to the system run.

Rollers and bearings durable to run for long period 


Chain conveyors are composed of bolted removable bottom 

and trough sides and covers. Bolted connection enables to 

substitute worn and defected parts easily. The chain runs 

over carrying rollers assembled on side wall sheets with bolts. 

By means of PE 1000/UHMW material in front of chains, the 

contact of steel to steel is prevented. This prolongs the life of the 

chain and also provides a quite running environment.

Elevator tower outer sizes and height are determined in comply with the project. 

It provides support for elevator EQUIPMENT found in the system. 

There are ladders, cages and rest platforms enabling the maintenance and service supply. 

It is made of hot dipped galvanized. 

There are Tube, Square Tube Column and Bracket constructions. 

It is mounted as bolt connected.

All static calculations have been made against wind and snow loads. Modular manufactured 

EQUIPMENT are completely mounted with bolts. Minimum 400 g/m2 covering is made with 

the hot dipping method. 

It is manufactured with 120 and 180 cm width as standard. Special designs are possible 

for special applications. Bottom section is manufactured from specially designed embossed 

metal sheet. These sheets minimize the risk of service staff and also prevent water 

accumulation on them. 

There are square tube columns, brackets and tube type constructions.

Platform elevating angle may be adjusted to 0-400 

There are hydraulic back wheel supports. 

Platform is controlled over CKP panel 

Hydraulic unit consists of Pump, Electrical motor, fluid reservoir and oil filter and it is 

mounted under the platform. 

Platforms are mounted by anchoring to the base prepared according to the project 

given by our firm. 

Platforms are dyed with one layer of coating and two layers of industrial dye.
