MAKE IT MATTER
Your investment at Texas Woman’s University

AT TEXAS WOMAN’S UNIVERSITY, almost half of our undergraduate students start their education at a
community college or other four-year university and transfer to TWU. We offer small class sizes, a welcoming environment
and an easy transfer process. We have partnerships with many community college systems to help ensure your college
coursework will transfer toward your bachelor’s degree. twu.edu/transfer
At TWU, we believe in a quality education that is affordable and accessible. This is why we offer more than $15 million
in scholarships annually, including many just for transfer students. Most students are able to maintain their scholarships
for up to two years.
Many financial aid options are available for transfer students, including grants, loans and part-time campus jobs.
LEARN BY DOING
Beyond the classroom

OUR ACADEMIC QUALITY EXTENDS
BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
TWU students have the opportunity to learn and work
with faculty members who pursue and apply research in
their fields. Whether it’s developing programs to reduce
violence against women, working with veterans and their
families, expanding access for children with autism or
identifying more effective ways to reduce cancer risks,
research with TWU faculty will broaden your academic
experience. twu.edu/faculty-profiles
CAREER CONNECTIONS
TWU believes in opening doors for our students. The
Career Connections Center provides advising services
and tailored career planning for students and alumni.
We help with all aspects of planning — from choosing a
major to negotiating a salary after graduation. Our online
resources, career readiness workshops, and national and
international employer connections are just some of the
services that demonstrate our commitment to student
success. careerconnections.twu.edu
Internships provide real-life, hands-on workplace training
that adds experience to your degree while establishing
networking contacts for your after-college career.
