ribeye ratio, 5-94 rib fat ratio, and 5-87 rump fat ratio. Her Ribeye
EPD is way above the top 1% of current dams.
★ C124’s 2009 heifer calf, Hoover Dame, was the top-selling female
in the history of our farm at $50,000 to the Hoover Dame Syndicate,
a group of progressive Angus breeders from several states. Hoover

★ Hoover Dame’s top two daughters sold for $11,000 and $6000 in
the November 2011 Stars of Montana Sale, and her daughter was
the lead-off heifer calf in the 2011 NILE Angus Female Sale and
brought $5750.
★ C124’s 2010 son, Hoover High Dollar J290, was selected by Justin
Swindler in our 2011 auction for $13,000. High Dollar aced his scan
with a 5.37 IMF, ratio 124, and a 14.9” ribeye, ratio 107. He froze
over 400 units of semen at just over a year of age, and will have
calves in four herds this spring.
★ C124 is now a donor cow owned by Hoovers and Craigmore Farm
of Ontario. Craigmore purchased ½ interest in C124 for $45,000.
Wayne Kreklewich of Craigmore had the foresight to see that
Hoover Dam was going to become one of the most popular young
bulls of the Angus breed and wanted to propagate the cow. Several
full sibs to Hoover Dam will be born at Hoover Angus in January,
2012.
★ C124’s $W value is in the top 10% of current dams. Her only
daughter in our herd is a Path� nder and records 4-93 BWR and
4-105 WR.
★ Grandam V65 records 7-98 BWR, 7-103 WR, 7-102 YR, 7-103 IMF
ratio and 7-105 ribeye ratio along with a 347 day calving interval.
★ Great grandam V047 records 9-101 BWR, 9-112 WR and 9-111 YR.

and the 2011 NILE Angus Female Sale, 37 heifer calves and bred
heifers with Hoover-in� uenced genetics averaged $3359!
