Words from Our President
Ms Nabila Toubia Morcos
Thank you my fellow colleagues of Rotary Club Amman Capital for
your trust in me and for honoring me by selecting me to be your
president for the year 2020-2021. And thank you Dr. Maqableh
for your leadership in this hard year of 2019-2020
I have been a member of this club since 2014 and this club has
ome very special and memorable moments in my life and has opened
opportunities for me to meet such special distinguished citizens that
have great passion to serve and good spirit of comradeship.
I here today commit to follow the beliefs and ethics of Rotary and
to do my atomist best to enhance our service to our community and
to service our club in the most honest and ethical spirit.
My strategy for the year of my service is to:
•Increase the number of members with committed ethical
professionals that fit with our clubs culture and who are eager to
service
•Engage with other clubs in our region and other regions to enhance
the spirit of Rotary Service and to build on our fellowship.
•To follow-up on our current projects that are the trade mark of
Rotary Capital and to introduce new projects that can service our
community in this changing time.
My fellows I am sure that if we work together in the same spirit that
we are working now nothing would be impossible or too hard to
achieve and I am sure we can achieve anything we commit to
undertake.

مدار الساعة أقام رئٌس نادي روتاري عمان كابٌتال الدكتور حازم مقابلة مساء
الٌوم األربعاء حفل عشاء بمناسبة العام السادس على تأسٌس النادي.‏
حضر الحفل نائب محافظ المنطقة الروتارٌة 2452 لألردن خالد األسدي ومساعد
المحافظ ماهر الخٌاط.‏
كما حضر الحفل أعضاء نادي روتاري عمان كابٌتال وأعضاء من األندٌة
الروتارٌة األخرى،‏ منها:‏ نادي روتاري البترا ونادي مترَوبولٌتان ونادي روتاري
جرش ونادي روتاري نهر األردن ونادي روتاري كوزموبولٌتان..‏
‏ٌذكر أن نادي روتاري عمان كابٌتال أنجز العدٌد من المشارٌع اإلنسانٌة والبٌئٌة
والتدرٌب المهنً.‏
وانجز النادي أٌضا مشارٌع تنقٌة مٌاه المدارس وكذلك الرعاٌة الطبٌة وتأهٌل
البٌوت المتهالكة وإجراء عملٌات القلب المفتوح لألطفال واخٌرا مشروع أملً‏
الرٌادي.‏
وهناك مشارٌع أخرى ‏ٌدرسها النادي لتنفٌذها بأقرب فرصة ممكنة.‏

الرئاسٌة للنادي للسنة الروتارٌة القادمة 2020

وشارك بمراسم اإلحتفال نائب محافظ المنطقة

خالل الحفل كلمة حٌا فٌها أعضاء النادي على
جهودهم
وقال أنجزنا بهمتكم كافة المشارٌع المرسومة رغم
التحدٌات التً‏ واجهت النادي من ضمنها جائحة
كورونا
وأكد على إستدامة تنفٌذ المشارٌع المعلقة ، موضحا
أن النادي سٌسقطب أعضاء جدد ونكون ‏ٌدا واحدة
كما كنا سابقا
ووزع الدكتور مقابلة الدروع التذكارٌة على األعضاء

Welcome our new members
Five new members were pinned by President Nabila Morcos
n ‎2020/2021‎ه and handed them the membership certificates in
induction ceremony.
PP Wafai Mseis ran the induction ceremony and read the new
membership Rotary Club Oath and the 4-way Test and stressed
that the members should respect the RI and club By-laws and
constitution. New members took the auth, PP Wafai Mseis
declared the FIVE new members as official members to RCA
CAPITAL.

RCA CAPITAL held its social monthly social meeting of July at
Primal Restaurant in Abdoun and were joined by friends of
RCA Petra Fellows Marah Khayyat and Said Al Masri.
A fantastic setup and atmosphere where members mingled
and enjoined selection of healthy food

Getting everybody on Board
RCA CAPITAL, on August 16 2020, held its weekly
regular meeting where four of its members whom were
appointed as District and Country chairs briefed on the
scope and duties of their missions for the RY2020/2021.
Positive thoughts and dialogue were presented between
and club members. Actions and proposals were
discussed and exchanged areas of focus on

enormously commenced .

Our Speaker was Dr Rula Al Huroub whom she
addressed us on Jordan after Coronavirus pandemic. The
aftermath .
We all were honored and obliged of the participation of
DG Mazen Alumran 2020/2021 who was present with us
through Zoom with other Rotarians and participants.

العام والخاص لتوفٌر بٌئة إستثمارٌة جاذبة ومنافسة وذلك من خالل الحفاظ على
األمن واآلمان واإلستقرار التشرٌعً‏ والشفافٌة والنزاهة وسٌادة القانون ومنافسة
تكلفة عناصر اإلنتاج إضافة إلى توفٌر حوافز وإعفاءات مالٌة منافسة
للمستثمرٌن "

HE PP Jabra Khouri Consul of Cuba to
Jordan
RCA CAPITAL held its 2nd meeting for the RY 2020/2021 at Chemisty
on July 19th, 2020.
Our prime speaker HE PP Jabra Khouri Consul of Cuba to Jordan who
spoke of the new era of change after the Coronavirus pandamic
lockdown in the region and the world. Also, he explained how Cuba
managed to withstand the pandamic and US economic sanctions
along with advanced Cuban endeavors in medicine and minerals.
PP Mohammed A Khayyat welcomed all Rotarians and guests along
with other Rotarians attending from RCA Petra, Jordan River,
Metropolitan and Amman West.
At the end of first session of the meeting President Nabila Morcos
presented our speaker with an appreciation plaque and thanked him
for the informative lecture and facts.

معنى ورقً‏ كلمة االنسانٌة وساعدتها دولٌاً‏ للوثوب الهداف نبٌلة
بالخدمة العامة واالٌثار.‏

Our Target for year 2020 was 2 new members but we pinned 5 new
members and we are in the process of pinning 3 new members and
2 Honorary Members
Projects undertaken by RCA Capital to date
•Foresting & Maintenance of Sweimeh Elementary School 2016
and ongoing
•Keep Jordan Clean from 2015 on going a project to clean the
shores of the Dead Sea and some of the parks that are used by the
Jordanians as places for picnics and leisure RI President / Member
of the Foundation Trustees Mr. Ravi Raventran together with
PDG Mustafa Naseraldine visited the site of the project and took
pictures and posted on Rotary International site
•Dental Care for needy families from 2016-an ongoing program
with the generous technical support of Rotarian Samuel Kakish and
the financial support of RCA Capital
•Amali Women Empowerment Project with GIZ and CEDEM
Pharmaceutical to train & mentor 12 women entrepreneurs to
carry their projects forward and succeed.
•Supporting the Program Gift of life by 100% membership
•Food Packages & House Items ( Blankets & Sheets ) to needy
families on the month of Ramadan and in Winter from 2018 to now
•Maintenance & Repair of homes of needy families a project
started in 2018 since then 4 houses have been repaired and the
project is still on
