Foreword<br />
Spread over two floors, Tallington Lodge is registered to provide<br />
personalised residential and dementia care. Tallington Lodge has been<br />
purpose built andsympathetically designed to blend in with the local area<br />
featuring a traditional stone frontage.<br />
The care home promotes a lifestyle for residents that offers<br />
beautiful, homely accommodation, whilst delivering the highest standards<br />
of personalised care. The care home has 31 en-suite bedrooms, with ground<br />
floor ‘superior rooms’ featuring patio doors leading out onto their own<br />
garden sitting area. Residents will also be able to enjoy a hair salon,<br />
garden boat-house and beautifully designed lounge and dining areas on<br />
both the ground and first floors.<br />
Situated on the edge of the beautiful Lincolnshire village of Tallington;<br />
Tallington Lodge <strong>Care</strong> Home provides residential and dementia care led<br />
by family values at it’s care in a beautiful, village setting.<br />

Overview<br />
Month Zero | March 2018<br />
The existing site had many challenging aspects to<br />
overcome throughout the duration of the construction<br />
programme. Due to the recent completion to the First<br />
Phase of the <strong>Care</strong> Home, space for works were limiting.<br />

<strong>Completion</strong> of <strong>Demo</strong>lition works and foundation<br />
Month One | March 2018<br />
Works commenced on site on 1st March 2018. During the early weeks, completion of demolition<br />
and stripout works to the existing carehome were achieved; and foundation works commenced.<br />
Remedial works to the roof of the existing carehome were also undertaken within this month.<br />

Month two | April 2018<br />
Good progress continued within this reporting period, as the completion of strip<br />
out works allowed for wall formwork to commence to the ground floor of the<br />
Second Phase. Additionally, preperations were made within the period for the<br />
installation of the acoustic flooring.<br />

<strong>Demo</strong>lition and Foundation installation to rear of site<br />
Month Three | June 2018<br />
Steady progress was made during the period, as wall formwork<br />
continued alongisde roof truss installation and internal plastering<br />
works to the existing home. Externally, the foundation works and<br />
demolition works to the existing works had concluded.<br />

Roof Covering to Existing <strong>Care</strong><br />

development<br />
Month Four | July 2018<br />
Good progress was made in the period, as roof truss installation<br />
to the front elevation had commenced to the front extension of<br />
the facility and roof covering works to the existing care home<br />
had achieved completion. Wall formwork to the extension of the<br />
development was nearing completion. Additionally, steelwork to<br />
the rear wing had commenced and foundations were poured<br />
to the rear of the site, where the bedroom extension is situated.<br />
Internally, first fix Mechanical and Electrical works commenced.<br />

First Fix M&E and Screed installation<br />
Month five | August 2018<br />
Works progressed well within the reporting period as roof truss<br />
installation was close to completion throughout. Blockwork to the rear<br />
extension had commenced and stonework existing building achieved<br />
completion. Sprinkler head installation and screeding works<br />
commenced within the period.<br />

Month Six | September 2018<br />
Good progress was made during the period, as roof truss installation had<br />
complete throughout and window installation had commenced. Internally, floor<br />
screed and wall plaster installation had taken place.<br />

Second Fix Service Installation<br />
Month Seven | October 2018<br />
Plaster installation and floor screed progressed well within the period. Also, second<br />
fix service installation commenced alongside First Fix services. Preperation of external<br />
render installation took place during the reporting period.<br />

Commencement of Window Installation<br />
Month eight | November 2018<br />
Works progressed well within the period, as window<br />
installation achieved commenced and internal plastering works were<br />
close to completion. Internal finishing commenced and second fix<br />
installation to the services were well underway during the reporting<br />

Month nine | December 2018<br />
<strong>Completion</strong> to window installation had been<br />
achieved throughout and installation to second<br />
fix services continued. Internal finishes were well<br />
underway and internal plaster works were nearing<br />
completion.<br />

Commencement of Air Testing<br />
Month Ten | January 2019<br />
Good progress was made during the period, as completion to internal finishes, plastering and<br />
second fix installation to services were achieved, which allowed for air testing to be undertaken.<br />

<strong>Completion</strong> of internal Fit out<br />
Month Eleven | February 2019<br />
On 4th February 2019,Practical <strong>Completion</strong> was achieved. Within this period<br />
internal fit out, plastering and internal finishes had now achieved completion and<br />
preparations were being made for the lift installation. Externally, hard lanscaping<br />
works had been undertaken.<br />

Link Frame Installation<br />
Month Twelve | March 2019<br />
Removal of existing roof over phase one had been undertaken to allow<br />
for the steel link frame to be installed, in order to connect Phase 1 & 2<br />
. Installation of the platform lift had been achieved within the period<br />
and minor remdial works to the external paving had been undertaken..<br />

Fit out of <strong>Care</strong> Home Link<br />
Month Thirteen | April 2019<br />
Within the period, plastering works and internal decoration were<br />
undertaken to the link, whilst completion of First Fix service<br />
installation and insulating of ceilings was achieved. Externally,<br />
rainwater goods had been installed.<br />

<strong>Completion</strong> to Link<br />
Month Fourteen | May 2019<br />
Delays occured within the reporting period due to inclement weather<br />
conditions which halted the installation of the glazing panels to the<br />
steel linking frame, which had a revised installation date of the 31st<br />
May 2019. During the period the date for practical completion was<br />
pushed back to 7 June 2019, due to client changes.<br />

Month Fifteen| October 2019<br />
On 17th October 2019, Combined Works Practical <strong>Completion</strong> of both Phase 1<br />
& 2 was achieved.<br />
