ELECTION SUPPLEMENT
Nominations for offi cers for 2013 were held at our October 11, 2012 Chapter meeting. In the newsletter preceding the meeting it
was announced that nominations could be made at the meeting and for one week after the meeting, until October 18, 2012. One
additional nomination was made between the meeting and October 18, 2012. Accordingly, all of the nominees for 2013 Primary
Offi cers, in alphabetical order, are:
Director: Rick Angle Treasurer: Pam Tauzin
Assistant Director: Frank DiNucci, Michael Oge Road Captain: Al Navarro, Dave Rusk
Secretary: Lisa Oge Ladies of Harley Offi cer: Nancy Chadd, Terri King
The general election for the 2013 offi cers will occur at the November 8, 2012 Chapter meeting. The polls will be open to vote
promptly following the conclusion of the meeting. The votes will not be counted on November 8th to allow for the inclusion of
absentee ballots. The nominee who receives the greatest number of votes for any particular offi ce will be elected to that position.
We have two options for those Chapter members who cannot attend the November 8th meeting. You may request an absentee ballot
by calling me at (951) 990-6725 or by e-mail at: MTI.LAX@verizon.net. If I am not in please leave a message on my voicemail
stating you wish an absentee ballot with your name, address and telephone number, and I will send you a ballot. Absentee ballots
may be requested up to and including November 15th and must be returned to Earl Chadd at 23310 Elfi n Place, Moreno Valley, CA
92557 by November 22, 2012. The second option is to just simply send me an email with your choices.
All of the ballots from the Chapter meeting on November 8th will be placed within a sealed envelope and held on the back porch
of Funk & Wagnall’s until the close of absentee voting. The election committee will then later convene to count and validate the
ballots, determining the winners. The election results will be delivered to our Chapter Director, Rick Angle, who will announce the
results in an appropriate manner. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact any member of the elections committee:

Please know that since my wife Nancy is running for an elected offi ce I will recuse myself from the ballot counting procedure and
will instead just hang out, eat donuts and look important.
Please make every effort to attend the November 8th meeting and vote.

Hello everyone! I am honored to have been nominated as Director for a second year.
I have been riding for approximately forty years, almost all of it on street bikes. I was without a bike for a while, due to the rigors
and challenges of raising a family and establishing myself in my chosen profession. It was a great day in my life when I regained
the wind in my face and the freedom of two wheels once again.
I have been a Chapter member for almost ten years now, and have held the positions of Photographer, Head Road Captain, Safety
Offi cer, Assistant Director, and lately, Director. In that time I have celebrated the marriages and mourned the deaths of Chapter
members; believe me, it can be a wild ride at times. I take great pride in being associated with Inland Empire HOG, and although
the coming year promises to hold some unprecedented challenges to our chapter, I will do my best to lead the Chapter through it.
