CORE ACTIVITIES
LIFEGROUPS are the hub of community. LifeGroups meet on
Sunday mornings to discuss the Scriptures, and engage in
off-campus socials and retreats throughout the school year.
MDWK is our Wednesday night ministry. Expect a rotation of
laid-back hangouts, worship through song, teaching, and the
occasional “Epic Wednesday”.
MISSION TRIPS are intended to place into students’ heart a
love for the nations, place into their minds the vastness of God’s
kingdom, and place into their hands an experience that is
unforgettable. It is our hope that every student will experience
one state-side and one international trip before they graduate
from high school.
EVENTS include weekend retreats, summer camp, fellowships,
and more.
A schedule of our core activities can be found on the Events tab of
our app or at nehbc.com/stuminevents.

GOSPEL COMMUNITY HOLINESS
The gospel as revealed in the Bible is the foundation
upon which the NEHBC Student ministry stands.
We believe that the Word of God (the Bible) from which
we preach, teach and study is without error and is as
relevant today as it has ever been.
Anyone who is willing to profess with their mouth and
believe in their heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
who died and rose from the dead for their sins to
reconcile them to God can be saved.
Luke 19:10, Romans 10:9-10
It is our desire for students to collectively live together
as a gospel-centered community: a collection of
disciple-making Christ-followers committed to regularly
meeting with one another, in addition to regularly
meeting with the larger NEHBC congregation.
Students living in gospel-centered community sharpen
one another through gospel conversations, life events,
prayer, service, and through meeting one another’s
physical, social, and emotional needs.
Acts 2:42, Hebrews 10:25
The burden of the NEHBC Student Ministry is to see
each individual student pursuing holiness with a great
fervency.
Being holy is different from being moral: Someone who
pursues holiness commits to a personal pursuit of being
set apart from the patterns of this world through a
continual and complete surrender to the Lordship of
King Jesus over their lives.
1 Peter 1:13-16, Romans 12:1-2
