Design Trust Mission Statement
In 2007, Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design (HKAoD)
was founded with the aim to encourage, promote,
support and advance the study and development of
all areas of design. In 2014, Ambassadors of Design
founded DESIGN TRUST, a grant funding platform
with related educational programmes to promote,
encourage, support and advance design competency
for the benefit of the public. DESIGN TRUST supports
creative projects regionally and internationally that
develop expertise, build research initiatives and
content related to Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
The mission statement of Ambassadors of Design
and DESIGN TRUST is to provide an active longterm,
intelligent and meaningful platform to fund and
advocate the process of design, debate and creative
sharing. Ambassadors of Design and DESIGN TRUST
support innovative, thought-provoking projects in
various design disciplines including, but not limited to,
graphics, media, wearable technologies, architecture
and the urban environment.
