she clocks a year older<br />
Nollywood star Omowunmi Dada is one of the young<br />
actors currently stirring up Nollywood. Known for her<br />
role in the TV series ‘Jemeji’ amongst other movies,<br />
Omowunmi is currently making the headlines on social<br />
media for her sterling performance in the latest movie<br />
OLOTURE (which made its way to Netflix this week<br />
and a feature on CNN), celebrated her birthday last<br />
week with a heart filled with gratitude to God for her life<br />
and successes so far. She posted this message on her<br />
Instagram page with this beautiful photo.<br />
“A heart filled with gratitude.....Gratitude for what the<br />
past year has been despite the pandemic and sudden<br />
halt of the world. Thankful for family, good health, friends<br />
and you all who support and love me genuinely. Looking<br />
forward and keeping my gaze on all the goodness and<br />
surprises the New Year has in stock for me and my<br />

Gov. Dapo Abiodun Appoints<br />
Laycon as Youth Ambassador<br />
It was another win for newly<br />
crowned Big Brother Naija Lockdown<br />
winner, Laycon who was again<br />
elevated as a Youth Ambassador<br />
by the Ogun State Governor, Prince<br />
Dapo Abiodun.<br />
Gov. Abiodun who made the<br />
announcement when he played host<br />
to Lacon in his office at Oke-Mosan,<br />
Abeokuta, also, gave Laycon a<br />
three-bedroom bungalow and five<br />
million naira (N5,000,000).<br />
Abiodun expressed the hope that<br />
his good character, excellence, good<br />
virtues, calmness, integrity, would<br />
serve as a model to youths in the<br />
state.<br />
“It is hoped that you will help<br />
inspire our teeming youths to<br />
channel their energy towards<br />
positive engagements and<br />
shun vices such as robbery,<br />
drug abuse, cultism, advanced<br />
fee fraud, cybercrimes and<br />
kidnapping amongst other<br />
negative tendencies” he said.<br />
He described Laycon’s<br />
conduct in the house as a<br />
demonstrating of the Omoluabi<br />
component, the primary<br />
ingredient of an Ogun Stateborn<br />
Nigerian, observing that<br />
despite all the odds, temptations<br />
and provocations, he was able<br />
to come out unscathed and<br />
uninvolved in any scandal or<br />
immoral act.<br />
On his part, Laycon while<br />
sharing the news with his<br />
followers and fans on instagram,<br />
promised to put this opportunity<br />
to great use. “This platform and<br />
opportunity that has been given to<br />
me by the people of Nigeria and<br />
the people of Ogun State, I will<br />
make sure I use it to the best of<br />
my ability, to impact the society<br />
positively, enrich people’s lives<br />
and keep spreading love and<br />
