EXAMPLE I

RADIATOR HEAT OUTPUT RECALCULATING FOR GIVEN TEMPERATURES

Radiator model: GL-30/90

Normal output for ∆T = 50K (75/65/20 °C): 400 W

Heating system temperature parameters:

Feed water temperature t z = 65 °C

Return water temperature t p = 55 °C

Ambient temperature to = 18 °C

from the table:

f 1,25 = 0,804

czyli Φ = 400 x 0,804 ≈ 321 W - radiator heat output at temperatures 65/55/18°C.

EXAMPLE II

LOOKING FOR APPROPRIATE RADIATOR AT GIVEN TEMPERATURE PARAMETERS

Parameters:

Feed water temperature t z = 85 °C

Return water temperature t p = 70°C

Ambient temperature to = 20 °C

Required heat output for temperature parameters (85/70/20°C): 550 W

from the table:

f 1,25 = 1,191

Φ n = 550 : 1,191 ≈ 462 W - Normal output (75/65/20 °C) of the desired radiator

Next from the technical data table chose a radiator whose normal output (75/65/20 °C) is as similar to the calculated value as possible.
