industry recognised qualification?
The Central School of Make-Up is Birmingham’s most prestigious Make-Up
School, providing one day Masterclasses through to 10 Week Professional
Diplomas. Our ‘hands-on’ progressive courses give you the chance to work in
professional make-up studios and be taught by industry leading Make-up Artists.
Established in 2013 and the UK’s first International Make-Up School outside
of London, we have built a reputation renowned for excellence in Make-
Up Training. Whether you want to train in Basic Beauty, Creative, Fashion,
Special Effects or Hair. Our courses are suitable for both beginners and those
who wish to refresh or update their skills. Courses are balanced between
demonstrations and hands on practical workshops.
Our industry recognised qualifications are issued by the awarding body IMA.
You will be assessed by an external IMA examiner in your practical exams and
on completion of your ‘working portfolio’. There will be several assessment
days to choose from throughout the year. Post examination, we encourage
graduates to join our after-care programme, helping them take their first steps
into the industry.
