The Kokernot 06 <strong>Ranch</strong>, located in the beautiful Davis<br />
Mountains of West Texas, was established in 1882. The 06 has<br />
since continued to carry on the old traditional style ranching<br />
with round up twice a year. Vital to the cow-calf operation is<br />
the remuda of registered Quarter <strong>Horse</strong>s raised and trained on<br />
the ranch. Much time is spent preparing the horses for cutting,<br />
roping, and all-around ranch work. They are experienced in<br />
pen work and gathering cattle on the wide-open ranges as well<br />
as in rough mountain country.<br />

Lytle Bend <strong>Ranch</strong> located in Potosi, Texas is owned and<br />
operated by Joe and Josh Allen. Lytle Bend <strong>Ranch</strong> was<br />
established in 1981. Other interest being in Taylor and Eastland<br />
counties. Lytle Bend is a cow, calf and yearling operation. We<br />
raise and train quarter horses and thoroughbred horses for<br />
ranch work, roping, and racing.<br />

In 1882, the Matador Land & Cattle Company was formed by<br />
a group of Scottish investors. In 1953, Fred C. Koch purchased<br />
three sub-divided corporations of land as well as the Flying V<br />
cattle brand and the “50” horse brand, both of which were used<br />
by the Scots during their 70 year ownership. Today Matador<br />
<strong>Ranch</strong> covers 130,000 acres around Matador, TX. It has both<br />
cow-calf and stocker operations, as well as a small broodmare<br />
band. It focuses on producing horses that are athletic, versatile<br />
and have the right disposition to produce dependable horses.<br />

The Michael <strong>Ranch</strong> is headquartered in Hartley County in the<br />
Texas panhandle. It is a cow-calf and yearling operation. The<br />
broodmare band consists of cowhorse bloodlines and are<br />
primarily crossed on the ranch stallion, Pegis Playboy, who<br />
was trained and shown to $60,000 in NHCA earnings by Andy.<br />
Their offspring have performed as finalists at NCHA limitedaged<br />
events, RHAA events and collegiate rodeo ropings.
