DON’T MISS IT!: The Browns

Theater presents Breakfast with

Rudolph on Saturday, Nov. 28.

Seatings at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The Browns present annual series of Christmas shows

The holiday season is in full

swing and for the Brown family

that means one thing — Christmas

concerts. A whole bunch of

them.

This year the series of holiday

shows, which got underway last

week, have been themed “Joy to the

World.”

“We picked the theme a few

months ago. Even at the point we

knew that everyone needed a little

bit, or a lot of joy this year,” said

Shelly Brown. “We just felt like with

everything going on people need

some hope and encouragement and

joy in their lives.”

There will be plenty of opportunities

to experience that joy with 17

shows still on the schedule running

all the way until Dec. 23 at The

Browns Theater in LeMars.

Tickets range from $10 to $27 and

shows are scheduled for 7 p.m. most

nights with a 1:30 p.m. show added

on Saturdays. Evening shows also

feature a home-style holiday meal.

“We’re having a traditional Christmas

meal with turkey, dressing,

homemade cranberry sauce, gravy,

salads and desserts. It’s just a festive

As far as the show itself, guests can

expect to hear several Christmas classics

over the course of a couple hours.

Everything from classical music

Christmas tunes like “I’ll Be Home

With Bells On” and everything in

Caroling medleys and timeless

favorites like “Mary Did You Know”

and “O Holy Night” will be featured

as well.
