REVEREND TISHA WILLIAMS
Reverend Tisha Williams is a proud product of Brooklyn,
NY. She currently serves as the Sr. Pastor of the First Baptist
Church of Bridgehampton. She answered the divine call of
sharing Christ with the world in June 2008 and was licensed
as a preacher and teacher of the Gospel in October of the
same year. Reverend Williams was ordained in October 2014.
Pastor Williams has a servant’s heart and is passionate about
ministry and the work that God has called her to do. Truly,
she has devoted her ministerial and professional careers to
addressing the whole person as it relates to one’s spiritual and
emotional well-being.
As the creator and facilitator of Who’s That Lady? she conducts
in-depth bible studies and workshops that highlight women of
the bible, revealing how their lives mirror ours in this present
day. Proving that through it all, God’s mercy still endures,
Who’s That Lady? has become a national movement that in 2018 expanded to Kenya and Uganda. Her
first book, “Who’s That Lady? A Study of the Lesser-Known Women of the Bible” is scheduled for
a Summer 2019 release.
Together with her husband, she created the marriage ministry program, “Your Marriage T.H.D. -
Touched, Healed and Delivered”. It is their sole objective to share this program, using it to fortify
and bless married couples all over the world. Using biblical principles and focused exercises, they help
couples better understand marriage and God’s plan for it.
Reverend Williams is currently pursuing a degree in Christian Studies and holds a certificate in
Theology and Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary. She is also a 2016 Fellow of the
Princeton Theological Seminary Black Theology and Leadership Institute.
Fun-loving and full of life, Pastor Williams is also a bit of an adventurist. She has successfully sky
dived, bungee jumped, and completed a one-mile swim race in the Long Island Sound. In 2014, she
climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa in support of the American Foundation for Children
with AIDS. Her motto is, “she believed she could, so she did”.
Nevertheless, considering all her accomplishments, she is proudest of her roles as “Tia” to her amazing
nieces and nephews, “G-Ma” to her eight beautiful God-children, “Mom” to her two pups Lucy and
Ethel and wife to the love of her life, Deacon Lawrence Williams, her husband of 21 years.
Rev. Tish firmly believes that her life is a true reflection of Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom
of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
