CATHOLIC SCHOOL
ANNUAL REPORT 2019-2020
OUR MISSION
LETTER FROM
PRINCIPAL
All Saints Catholic School is committed to providing an education that
2019-2020
strives to enable students to love God and supports the development
of body, mind, spirit and service to others.
Dear Friends,
The school year of 2019-2020 was a year like no other and now as we are several
months into our new school year, I can reflect on last year and all that unfolded.
I am pleased to be able to share with the community some of the “Good News”
that was part of the 2019-2020 school year. Through the generous support of
our donors and grants, several important program and facility improvements
were funded.
Our school strives to offer its students a strong academic program that is
integrated with the Gospel Values. Historically, our students have demonstrated
a high level of religious and academic performance further enhanced by the
opportunities they receive to practice the traditions of our faith and serve others.
We count on and are grateful to our faculty and staff for the exceptional work they
do with our students. In their ministry, they provide witness to help the students
grow in their academic and spiritual journeys.
In 2019, our school opened “The Learning Academy at All Saints”. The Learning Academy is an academic
program specifically for students who have been identified (through formal educational testing) with a
diagnosed mild or moderate learning disability, have an IEP and need special education services.
The classroom is staffed with a full-time, certified special education teacher who is assisted by a full-time
paraprofessional. With the integration of technology into the curriculum continuing, and our commitment
to enhance student learning, the school purchased a set of iPads as well as applied for and received a
grant from Foundations in Education to create additional learning centers in the classrooms.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
The philosophy of All Saints Catholic School flows from
the school’s position in the Roman Catholic Church. The
School perceives its serious obligation to provide a
Christian and intellectually stimulating environment in
which the students are guided to develop their highest
potential.
We believe that each member of our school community
is a unique person whose abilities and gifts, given by
God, are to be recognized and developed.
Our curriculum is centered around our faith. Each day
begins with prayer and religious instruction and each
child has the opportunity to live out their faith through
participation in prayer services, monthly class masses in
our chapel, as well as school-wide mass celebration.

There were numerous improvements made during the past year. Additional security cameras were installed
on the outside perimeter of the building for added security. The school also purchased thirty more two-way
radios so the entire staff would have one in case of emergency. To comply with state requirements, the school
completed a full load pressure test on the elevator. The canopies of the trees were raised to improve the
site-line to the street. The existing double doors in the rear of the building and in the playground were
repaired as well as the door on the walk-in freezer in the kitchen. Other repairs include the landing, railings
and stairs on the north side of the building along with the curbing in the back parking lot.
Providing financial assistance to families who desire a Catholic education is part of our mission. Thank you
to all those individuals and foundations who continue to make a Catholic education possible by providing
scholarship money to students who would not be able to attend our school otherwise.
Thank you to all of our donors who continue to offer their generous support to make a difference in the lives
of our students. We are grateful to your commitment to our school. You are modeling our mission statement
and helping us to prepare our students to practice their faith and make a difference throughout their lives. We
can look back with confidence knowing the 2019-2020 school year, in spite of all the challenges put before us,
was successful in many ways.
On behalf of the All Saints Catholic School faculty, staff, and especially the students, I offer my heartfelt thanks
and our deepest gratitude. God Bless you!
Sincerely in Christ,
Linda Dunn

“I am happy that the community started by Sister Catherine and Sister Sally continues to flourish
at All Saints. There is a strong sense of family throughout the dedicated group of teachers and
staff who have given Hannah an excellent academic foundation. Equally as important, All
Saints has taught her the importance of living Catholic values and has helped her grow into a
well-rounded person with good morals and a strong sense of social responsibility.”

HOME SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
THE STORY OF MARCH 2020
Overnight our teachers learned to pivot.
Teachers created daily synchronous and asynchronous learning and invented innovative ways
to conduct literacy circles, maintain math groups, social studies, and other core subjects with
meaningful enhancement from our specialist content areas.
Equipping all faculty with necessary technology, support, and coaching in Zoom, combined
with an already existing infrastructure of Google Classroom, allowed us to maintain our
academic excellence while upholding our feeling of a tight-knit community.
Science became an opportunity for students to conduct experiments with at-home supplies,
and art transitioned to projects with sketching and painting along with fun crafts to keep
students’ creativity piqued.
Keeping our bodies fit and moving, coaches Zoomed live PE, and we even were able to hold a
field day with outdoor activities thanks to the efforts of our PE teacher and Athletic Director.
The Home School Association is comprised of current parents who run and oversee the school’s
fundraisers and “fun-raisers”. The primary roles of this Board are to implement fundraising
activities to meet the financial obligations, and to encourage camaraderie among faculty,
parents and students. Involved parents are a key part of the mix at All Saints Catholic School.
Always generous and involved at every level, we are able to raise significant funding to help
defray ever-increasing operating costs.

ANGEL FUND
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
As our most important philanthropic effort, we ask that everyone's first - and best - gift to the school be one to the Annual
Fund. Contributions to the campaign represent a belief in our mission and an investment in our students. The campaign is
truly a collective effort, and every gift – no matter the size – is valued. Participation of many donors, at all levels, makes it
possible for us to reach our goals.
WHERE DOES MY ANNUAL FUND CONTRIBUTION GO?
Gifts to the campaign fund curricular initiatives across the grade levels,
tuition assistance for our students in need, technology enhancements in
our classrooms, and maintenance of our beautiful campus.
