EU FUNDS ADVISORY SERVICES
We provide personalised assistance and support to both private and public
entities in the practical aspects related to funding opportunities. This is
implemented through: Organisation of one-to-one meetings with beneficiaries to
discuss project proposals and identify EU funding possibilities. Provision of
specific technical assistance to help beneficiaries in drawing up funding
applications. Practical advice related to project planning and design whilst
ensuring the eligibility of projects against EU funding programme criteria and
other technical procedures.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We provide support services in the overall management and coordination of a
project. This entails daily communication and coordination, periodic management
and financial reporting. Our company also specialises in the management of EU
funded projects and our experts working in this field have the necessary
expertise in various multi-cultural management practices, the knowledge to take
care of financial management and organise communication tasks of projects in
accordance to European requirements and regulations. Our team has the
necessary skills and experience to successfully manage EU funded projects in
accordance to the funding's manual of procedures.
PUBLIC PROCUREMENT
Our company provides assistance in relation to the drafting
of tenders as well as bid writing. We have extensive knowledge in the field of
public procurement regulations and therefore you can put your mind at rest that
the tender document and/or bid adheres to public procurement procedures.
TRAINING
We provide training services on funding opportunities and project management.
The team members of Funding Support have worked on a variety of applications
and projects ranging from EU funds and national funds. Our company is able to

Big projects generally involve overseeing a lot of moving parts, oftentimes from
different people and entities. To have successful projects, we rely on the vast
experience of our skilled team members who craft project plans and ensure
objectives and targets are met on time and on budget.
Maria Schembri - Director
During her 18 years of experience in funding, Maria has
spearheaded the Malta-EU Steering and Action
Committee's funding unit. Needless to say, our veteran has
ample experience with consulting and leading projects,
from small-scale to large scale international EU funded
projects. Maria graduated with honours in philosophy and
holds a Master's degree in Creativity & Innovation.
Alison Calleja - Director
Alison has over 9 years experience in the funding field
during which she has also headed Malta-EU Steering and
Action Committee's funding unit, securing over €15 million
EU funds for local entities. Alison Calleja graduated with
honours in European Studies and also holds a Master's
Degree in International Relations.
Alan Joseph Buhagiar - Project Manager
Alan has been in the funding field since 2012. During this
time, Alan also formed part of the Malta-EU Steering and
Action Committee's funding unit, securing over €4 million in
EU funds for local entities. Alan graduated with honours in
Public Policy and a Master's Degree in International
Relations.
Antoinette Borg - Project / Communications Executive
Over the past 7 years Antoinette has gathered a vast
experience in marketing and product life-cycle
management. Currently, she forms part of our project
management team, Antoinette graduated with honours in
Computer Networks and holds a Master’s Degree in
Business Information Systems Management.
