Idea Store Course Guide – January 2021What you need to knowEnrolment InformationAs well as support from Tower Hamlets Council,Idea Store Learning receives an annual grantfrom the Greater London Authority who regulateus and who work with Ofsted to inspect us. Weoffer a wide variety of courses and classes thatare extremely good value for money.Every year we ask for feedback from our learnersthrough surveys and the results show our learnersatisfaction is very high.Please note…This course guide provides descriptions of aselection of courses available at Idea StoreLearning. The start of any course in this bookletis subject to numbers enrolling and resources.Idea Store Learning reserves the right to close oramend courses including fee amendments.Where there is low enrolment, courses advertisedwill be closed prior to the start date. It isrecommended that you enrol at least one weekbefore the start date of your chosen course.AttendanceWe expect 100% attendance on courses but, ofcourse, we recognise that you may not alwaysbe able to attend each session. Please notify usif you are going to be absent. If you miss fourconsecutive weeks, you will be withdrawn fromthe course.RefundsIf you are unable to take up your place on acourse, a fee refund will only be given whereyou notify Idea Store Learning in writing at leasttwo weeks before the start date of your course.An administration fee of £11 will be charged forprocessing your refund.Where we close a course, you will be given a fullrefund. If we change the published details of acourse, those learners for whom the course is nolonger suitable will receive a full refund.REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN IN ANYOTHER CIRCUMSTANCESComments and complaintsWe aim to operate a complaints procedure thatis fair, responsive and effective. You can expectus to deal promptly and courteously with yourcomplaints.• Please discuss any concerns or complaintswith your tutor first. We will try and resolve theissue there and then.• Alternatively, emailideastore@towerhamlets.gov.ukWe aim to acknowledge your email and respondwithin 10 working days. Where it takes longer toresolve an issue, we will keep you informed.4
