PROLOGUE
Hi there!
It's always a pleasure to welcome a fella on
board, because apparently we're sharing the
same passion. Whatever your age, gender or
profession is, wherever you live or whatever
car you drive, we already have at least one
thing in common. That's a good start. I wish this
magazine could provide direct backandforth
communication 'cause I bet we all could tell
some hot carrelated stories sitting by a
Cosmo. But nevermind, there are other places
available to do that and maybe we'll meet on
one of them. Untill then, let me start first.
I'm just a normal car enthusiastic guy in his late
20s from Hungary with a lifetime passion
towards modded cars and motorsports. And a
very lucky one, gotta tell. Looking back to my
childhood, I never had to contemplate for a
single second about what do I want to be when
I grow up. I managed to manifest my childhood
dream when I became a graduated car
mechanic. Probably this is gonna take its
blessingkindoftoll on the rest on my life.
Even my hobbies are related to it. I started
blogging about cars in November 2015 with
some minor, private successes but I gotta admit
that car magazines impress me more despite
they're getting to be oldfashioned rapidly
these days. I spent the majority of my pocket
money to car magazines when I was a kid,
daydreaming over them that I might have my
own mag when I grow up. Then boom, 14 years
passed and I made issue #0 in March 2019 and
the feedbacks were surprisingly blessing so I
thought it might be a cool side project to
continue. This is what you see happening right
now.
The Second Stage.
Most of the content in this magazine already
had published in my blog both in English and
Hungarian language so we can call this thing
some kind of an anthology but there are some
freshly written debutants as well. Of course,
future plans include 100% exclusive magazine
content with car features, event reports,
motorsport analysises, tech posts and whatever
untill it's hot and car related. Features are going
to be the core of this magazine for sure, 'cos I'm
really eager to show the magnificent diversity
of car culture, whether it's about JDMs, Euros,
Yankee muscles, tuned show cars, dropped rats,
roaring track cars, or silent sleepers. We are
unique and still the same. And it's awesome.
Everyone has to see that.
Oh, a few words about the language... well,
been learning English for like two decades, but
since it's not my mother tongue I use 24/7, it's
prone to show some kinks here and there. I'm
the CEO/writer/manager/editor/janitor/lawn
mower/sandwich maker in this project and so
the proofreader in one person. So dear native
speakers: sorry for any grammatic mistakes in
advance.
Chances are that there are better magazines
outside even on this amateur level. I'm aware
there's still plenty to learn. But writing brings
me joy. And I want to share it with you by
making this magazine. As I wrote on the front
page, 'Driven with peculiar style, fueled with
gigantic love'. I'm on it to keep myself to this
standard. Hope you're gonna enjoy it as much
as I enojoyed making it.
Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas, Happy
New Year and all the best for 2021. Take care
and stay safe!
