This summer, VIVA ran its second
manchester United Soccer School
Programme.
Thousands of school kids aged
between 12 -15 competed in
trials to win one of 18 coveted
places on a week long training
programme with manchester
United in the UK. The lucky top
18 aspiring players have now
completed their week-long
football experience and returned
to Bahrain in late July.
The winners enjoyed the
experience of a lifetime with the
world’s best known football club.
VIVA players’ benefited from much
more than just football training
and gained great confidence
from attending various sessions
designed to help vital social skills
as well as technique on the pitch.
One of the winners, Yusuf Murad,
said ‘This was my first experience
at a training camp and following a
rigorous football routine. I gained
immensely from the coaching and
am now eager to apply newly
acquired skills on the pitch. I
wish to thank VIVA for this great
opportunity.”
Manchester United Soccer School
coaches were impressed by the
talent and passion for the game
demonstrated by the young
players. Coach Michael Sup, said,
“I was impressed with the standard
of play delivered by such technically
competent young players from

One of the highlights of the
training course was the exclusive

received to train at Carrington,
where the first team of Manchester

The week-long football training
