About the Author
Dr. Paresh Shah, FCMA., Ph.D. (Finance), and an Alumnus of Indian Institute of
Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) also holds graduate and post graduate degrees in
Commerce. He also holds certificates for courses of IESE Business School, University of
Navarra, Spain; and Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, USA.
Dr. Shah has industrial experience with the TATA group of nearly a decade, and a postdoctoral
teaching experience of 26 years. Dr. Shah is a visiting professor of several
reputed institutions in the state of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. He also provides
management education to the students of commerce, technical and medical background. His areas of interest
include teaching, research and writing in the areas of finance, accounts and management control system. He
has published 43 research papers including eight at international conferences in peer-reviewed journals. He
has conducted nine colloquia in international conferences. He has also authored ten books for international
market till now. His publishers include Oxford University Press, Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany. He
has also authored Forex Management (Wiley-Biztantra). Dr. Shah is also the recipient of many awards at the
