plaster.ItalsofolowssomesimplisticdesignfeaturesasitwasmyfirstprojectusingautodeskRevit.Thescopeofthis
assignmentwastodraw overagivenCAD planandcreatea3DstructureinRevit,byunderstandingtheannotationsandsigns.
Thename“vila12’isfrom theratioofthematerialsused.Floorsarefulygivenafinishofoakwood,andthewalsarefinished
withplasters.Sothemainmaterialisconcretewithwoodandplasterasthetopcoat,number1depictsconcreteand2depicts
thetwomaterialswoodandandplaster,hencegivingareasonbehindnumber12.

“Thetrio”isamodulerPyramidshapedhousing,thatcanreassureanytemporary
accomodationnecessity.Withahousingcapacityof3pax,theunitissplitedintoatriangle
andatrapwezium horizontaly.Thetrianglerestingontopofthetrapesium consistsofbed
matresseswhichcanbeaccessedthroughladderprovided.Thetrapezium below consistsof
atablewhichcanhousethreeusers,withsomestoragedrawersbelow whichcanbeusedas
awardrobeforstudents.Theseunitshasbeenprovidedopeningsoneithersidewhichleads
toacommonbalcony.Thisbalconyprovidesaccestotheneighbouringunitaswel,resulting
asasocialyengagingspace.

canhouseatleast2cars.

interaction.Thespacesaredesignedinawaythattheusersareabletointeractfrom diferentenclosures.Oneofthekeyfeaturethat
expressesthedesignconceptistheopeninginlevel2.Thisopeninghelpstocommunicatebetweenusersfrom theloungeinlevel2tolevel1or
viceversa,hencecreatinganinteraction.

assignmentsassignedtotestthe
designskilsofstudents.The
curvilinearpiecesofglassresembles
anefectofrippleformedinwater
whenanobjecthitsthetopsurface.

Themodelshownintheadjacentpageisanilustrationofasculpture,designedbymyselffor7thCDLsculpturecompetition
conductedin2019.Itfolowsaconceptofaminimalfamily.Thetopicwastoturnwasteintoart.Ithoughtofusingwiremesh
from theconstructionwasteandrolingitupcylindriclyandfilingwithsomeofthewasteslikeconcreteandmasonry
blocks.Thiswasfulymodeledusing3dsmaxsoftware.Thoughthemodelwasselectedforfinals,itwasnotgoodenoughto
holdchanceoftop5.
